Ordered paneer tikka masala. Unfortunately, WAY too much sugar. Paid $17 for the takeout dish, plus $2 tip. (Which like, sure,... inflation, but don’t trust the menu a customer posted to Google Maps from when they charged $13 for it.) The masala sauceeasily had 2-3 times as much sugar per serving/dish as tikka masala from anywhere else. And I’ve tried scores of Indianrestaurants. Dessert-level sugar in an entree isn’t acceptable in the year of our lord twenty twenty-two. Read more
We have gone here for several years and I may have written another review raving about it. However, incredibly disappointed... tonight. Food tasted fantastic as always but I was missing an order of Naan and only had half a container of rice. In addition,it said it was going to be ready an hour. We really loved the taste of every dish we ordered here. Every dish was made with special care it felt like, and very savory. We... started with chat appetizers, and ended with rasmalai, gulab jamun and kheer. Everything was made fresh and well cooked. Theonly reason I gave 4 and not 5 is because I felt we were given less food per plate than we thought we would get. But no othercomplains. Definitely recommend. Read more
Updating my review from 3 years ago because the world changed: The food is still good and I ordered lamb curry and garlic naan.... Ordered it spicy and it was spicy. The portion size was enough for me and the rice helped to fill any empty space. Wish Isplurged on the crunchy bread and chutney as extras, because I miss that stuff. The restaurant was lonely when I arrived andjust one person was working inside, which is a sad testament to the times we live in, but not the fault of the restaurant. Imiss seeing Indian restaurants full of life and people dining. Aside: I miss the variety of Indian buffets, but I guess theworld moved on from this format. Maybe one day in the far future people will be nostalgic for them, and they will return. Maybethere are more people like me out there right now that miss the buffets, and don't dine out so much anymore? Who knows... Read more
