Recently, I had my first visit to Beach Hut Deli and I chose the McClellan Park location because it's the closest to my house.... The sandwich was really delicious, top quality! The cashier was very polite and professional, and even though he was new, he wasquite proficient. The only negative I experienced is the wait time. I was informed they were working on an online order, but Iwas surprised at least 1 of the 3 ladies making sandwiches DID NOT pull away to focus on the walk in orders. As someone whoworks in Business Process Improvement, I have to say the current process needs Improvement...no customer should have to waitmore than 5-7 minutes for a sandwich; I waited for over 15 minutes and was the only customer in the Deli. So for food taste andquality I give 5 stars! But for service timeliness I can only give 2 stars, so I'll split the difference and give a total of 3stars for this location. Read more
Ok beach hut, your wait time is ridiculous!! it don?t matter what time I go into beach hut. The wait time for a sandwich is so... long. It?s crazy! My lunch was only 30 minutes, and I used the majority of my lunch time waiting on a single sandwich. Ifthere are several or a larger order a head of a customer walking up, you should inform the customer that there will be a 15- 20minutes wait that way the customer can decide if he/she should order or head somewhere else. I get there are on-line and phoneorders but come on, be mindful. Food is good but the service sucks! Read more
Bacon is always over done and I always forget. Otherwise this was a good experience. I love the sandwiches and the Dirty Chips... are always amazing. A few have closed down glad this one survived. Read more
The spicolli sandwich is pretty darn good. If you add raw onion it's even better. The problem I have with them is they don't... always read the order specifications like putting cooked onions or none at all instead of raw. One time I got the sandwich withthe cheese cold and unmelted though the menu says it is supposed to be. The staff seem like they are more concerned with gettingproduct out the door instead of getting it correct. Often I call in to get the order going for a pick up but it mostly goes to amessage that sends me a link via text to order online. Ordering online doesn't let me make customizations. So, because of this Ihave to call several times to get a real person to place the order. Read more
This was my 1st time ever going to a Beach Hut restaurant. The ladies that were working were very kind to guide me through the... sandwiches and to help me decide which would be the appropriate size sandwich for me to order. I decided to go with the Surfin'Bird as pictured, I ordered a small as recommended, and it surely filled me up! There were lots of great selections on the menuhowever I'm a softy when it comes to bacon, avocado, and cream cheese! The restaurant also had bathrooms on sale bathrooms onsite where you are able to wash your hands before eating your meal. They haperiod they have a spacious dining room and they alsohave a dining patio as well! This is a very nice location with ample amount of parking. Read more
Beach Hut Deli is one of our go to restaurants for Deli style sandwiches. I love the surfer/beach motif that their sandwiches... have. I especially like the "Spicoli". My wife loves the "Surfin' Bird". To us a great lunch is a Beach Hut sandwiches with adrink and some chips. The service at this location is good. Eating lunch at a table shaped like a surf board is fun and helpsbreak up the monotony of life. We will be back and recommend to others. Read more
