Delicious food. It does take time to get because they make everything in front of you, except the tamales, which I've seen them... make those too. Make sure you ask for salsa if you want it. Sometimes they forget to give it to you. Love to stop by when I'min the area to pick up tamales for the week. Con: Parking can be awful sometimes as the parking spaces in the lot are limitedbut I just park across the street and walk over if the spaces are full. Read more

Very good tamales! As of 2/4/22 they are priced at 3.64 each. I know people are saying they are expensive, but they are 3 times... if not 4 the size of a street tamale. I got 1 chicken and 1 beef, I was already full after eating the chicken. I also got extrasalsa which I didn't even need which I paid extra for. Read more

A ???? in the ruff, the ???? tamales built is alive and well in SF Valley.California Tamale House seems to have mastered the art... of homemade tamales on a large scale. I had the beef/red & chicken/green and both had good seasoning, textures, delicious sauceand a good ratio of meat to Masa. The Masa was also tasty. It had a nuttiness reminiscent of hand/homemade from scratch and thetexture was good to we're it didn't crumble too much after steaming. The side of refried pinto beans was excellent and the ricewell seasoned, fluffy and delicious. In my experience, rice can be tricky ;; sometimes dry or not seasoned properly. Getting hereis easy, PARKING can be a challenge! So if you have a hunkerin' for good Tamales/ Mexican food, I would definitely recommend yougive C.T.H a try; MMM, MMM Rico!! Don't forget your ????!:) Read more
