Chicken is excellent if it's cooked "well done", otherwise it can be kinda undercooked and not good at all
The food is okay. This location always smells like sewer. The smell of this location should really be fixed. They know it smells... funky in there because one of their doors is open wide. It?s not an appetizing smell for people that order food to eat there.The manager was taking a little long to give us our refund for overcharging us. Pollo loco usually never fails but this location seems to sell leftovers. Purchased some salads, Mac and cheese and a tortilla... soup and nothing was good. The chicken on the salads was hard, dried out and cold, looked like it was cut days in advance. Thetortilla soup looked like they added up new soup into older soup. The mac and cheese looked brownish and watered down. I thinkthis location has been the only pollo loco I?ve gone to that serves bad food. Read more
Long wait to order even though there was only 1 person ahead of me. And can we talk about the mashed potatoes? You need to do... better, El Pollo Loco. The mashed potatoes always seem to have a very weird texture lately... Likely from sitting out for hours.It's really off-putting. And please, for the love of God, stop burning the chicken! Went with a friend of mine because we are trying to eat healthier and she sold me on the protein bowls. We entered the... establishment to a foul smell, nobody watching over the 6feet order, a freewill drink station with nobody watching over thesanitation, was rudely treated by the cashier, took our protein bowls to go and were about to enjoy a nice outdoor picnic. Theprotein bowl was nothing more than iceberg lettuce and chicken that my friend then encountered a bone in that she nearly chokedon. Charging $25 for two bowls of iceberg lettuce and chicken bones at this establishment is not the best policy to say theleast.
