Editing a year later to say I want to give this place 10 stars. 1 year wiser and with many more Indian restaurants under my... belt, this place is still the best. One of the only places I can find that actually sears the chicken in their curry. It's anextra step most other places skip, but it really adds the right texture and seals in more of the moisture. The depth of spice isunmatched. This place has ruined me for all other restaurants. ORIGINAL: This is maybe the best Indian food in the valley (andyes, I tried them all). Other places have curries that taste thin and watery. Not here. Everything is well-spiced and fullbodied. Samosas were fried perfectly, the kheer bursting with cardamom flavor. Even the rice was spiced! This is the closestI've come to having curry as good as the curry home cooked by my Indian friend. They don't cut corners. Loved this place! The ambiance is clean and sleek with only about 5 tables. We ordered chicken korma and chicke tikkki masala.... The dishes were well proportioned and most importantly delicious! The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. The owner wasa gentleman and took pride in his restaurant. This is my new go to Indian Restaurant in the Valley!!! Read more
