I'm 37, and a local truck driver. I have never been in this place, but yesterday (11am) it was packed like a night club. I'm... nosey, but I was really wondering what the fuss was, so I poked my head in. I walked in, and to my right was a seasoned lady w/an apple fritter hanging from her bottom lip. Then to her right was a lady w/ a danish, but her Donut King tumbler was whatcaught my eye. Up front there were just Sooooooooo many options of donuts and turnovers and cupcakes, OH MY!!! The employeeswere so freaking kind, and I ended up ordering a fritter, a danish, and some strawberry concoction in a cup (I'm eating it as Iwrite this). I don't know what it is, but I sure am happy in my chair with its residue on my mustache. Look, I don't do reviews,like ever. I just don't, but the Vibe of this shop is needed in post Covid life. 2022 will end with many more visits from me.Thank you Ladies!! ???????????????? Read more

Great customer service! I really enjoyed the selection of delicious tasting donuts! I believe these are cake donuts and some... might be different. Yum!!! I had a peanut butter and a strawberry ???? that was very rich in flavor. The first time I went in,there was a mature, silver hair beautiful lady who took her time to share the variety of pastries. So many to choose from....Iappreciate her patience and professionalism. There was a guy that served me the second time with a smile and provide qualityservice. In a world where Long Johns are sadly getting smaller and smaller, thankfully Donut King has decided to ignore that terrible... trend! I'm not local, but I've heard great things about Donut King, so I had to drop by the drive thru for the first time when Iwas up North. They have a huge selection, but I had to try my favorite chocolate Long John, and to my surprise it was giant! Notonly was it the biggest Long John I've seen in years, because everyone else has decided to start making Short Johns, it wasfluffy, soft, and delicious too! I can't wait to go back and try some of their other selections (the maple bacon caught my eye,but they were out by 9:30 on a Saturday, so it must be good)! Read more
We came here because we were looking for a new donut place that was open past 4pm. Upon walking in we were not greeted as hoped... for????????.. My Husband broke the awkwardness by speaking very friendly to stop the stare of looking at us as if we were in afish bowl????????...???? we ended up trying a bunch of stuff like, the lemon cheese danish, chocolate long john, glazed,chocolate & cherry donut holes, sourdough, twists, jelly donut and a strawberry cheesecake cupcake. We got something foreveryone back at home. Out of all those we ended up choosing the sourdough donut over all of it. Wow, pretty great donut place, tons of selection and interesting offerings - including the famous cronut in different flavors... like strawberry cheesecake, peanut and butter and jelly, and birthday cake. Overall, I don't feel like it's just heavy ongimmicks that don't really work, like a lot of newer donut places seem to be. Even has a drive-thru option which is nice becausewhen I went on Saturday around 11:30am, this strip mall was packed. Speaking of which, most donut shops would have theirselection decimated by this time of day, but Donut King was still fully loaded with an impressive inventory. Read more
My family and I have been Donut King fans for as long as I can remember. Donut King was how I told my mom that her first... grandchild was on the way. So, it felt only right that we order ahead of time for our Drive-by Baby Shower! Our fresh, warm,bulk order of donuts was included with a sweet handwritten note and a baby bumper sticker. I was so happy, but unsurprised tosee that they went above and beyond (as usual). Donut King is a must for breakfast. They open at 530 and by 6 am they will be cleared out and you will be waiting for next batch... to be cooked. Everything is delicious and its all a good price. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit. Read more
