I?ve been to all the donut shops in RI and nobody can still touch Allie?s! Another awesome cheat meal! Grabbed a 1/2 dozen... donuts plus a maple frosted coffee roll, and luckily Allie?s is still affordable as all this was $12. I always get theirraspberry raised stick which I?m obsessed with. They USE TO BE THE BEST we'd drive from Middletown to grab a Doz. Every weekend growing up..so I took my kids and out of town... mother in law to show Allies off and ITS NOT THE SAME NOW ????their donuts have an Odd OLD taste ....i CANT Put my finger onwhat's wrong but something is "off" and I BRAGGED on them and no one finished them... they are definitely edible and tons ofchoices but idk the Frosting on the Vanilla donuts are YUMMY .. Doesn?t matter if your are a sweets person, you will like their donuts. Classic varieties and some speciality donuts. I placed... a huge order of over 2000 donuts and they were ready on time and were all done perfectly. Big shout out to the staff who tookexcellent care of me. Read more

We were super bummed by our experience. We try the highest rated donut places everywhere we go throughout the eastern seaboard... and these were definitely the least awesome. The reviews were misleading but I'm wondering if these maybe are the best somepeople have had. The area had very limited options. Nothing was labeled, in a rush to pick flavors/not hold up the line/movewith the speed of the vibe in this place we literally had to ask what things were and just guess. It's cash only but withoutknowing what things were it was hard to estimate what we owed. I think we paid $9 for what you see here (tip not included). Wetipped, despite zero friendliness/willingness to help from staff. We asked about iced coffee options, any liquid sweeteners(honey, maple syrup, melted sugar, liquid sugar?) And the response was harsh - "no. Ha. We dont do that. that's dunkin donuts."No, ma'am. That's most donut shops that serve coffee- options for everyone. Who wants to chew the sugar in their iced coffee? In2022, why would you make someone do that by having no other choices? The softest donut was sprinkles. The risen donuts lackedflavor. The cinnamon donut was so hard externally it was painful to bite. The artificial maple and strawberry were too sweet fortheir own good. We went through Julie @ JDP Cake & Favors to make our Allie?s donut wedding cake (well vow renewal cake because of a COVID)... dreams come true and all I can say is WOW! The donuts were made to match our wedding colors and the big donut cake on top wasperfect for a cake cutting! Everyone at our wedding raved about the donuts and they were virtually all gone by the end of thenight (thankfully we stashed a few to take home with us). Best donuts by far! My local friend took me and no disappoint for sure! The atmosphere of the store was quiet but clam and nice.... The variety of donuts they have was crazy.
