Such good food here. This was my third visit, the first in a few years. I was always impressed but they have only gotten... better. I always like to try new things. Tonight I had the soft tofu stew (original), which was amazing. First of all, I am ameat eater and I generally don't like tofu. But the soft tofu in here literally melts in your mouth. Savory but not too saltyand spicy enough to make my nose run. With the rice and other accompaniments it comes with it was a fully satisfying meal. Icould go on and on. There are good Korean restaurants in providence I guess, but Bapsang is worth driving out of the city for. I will be back again and again till I've tried everything on the menu... I will be heartbroken if they ever close. Read more

I went here with a friend and the service was disappointing. It was busy when we went in, so I understand if there was a mistake... or two since I also work at a restaurant , but there was too much. We were seated automatically when we got in, and not given amenu. Another table of two came in five minutes after us, and after around a 10 minute wait, their table was able to get a menubefore us. After looking at the menu, we waited for a server to take our order, and once again the people who came in laterorders were taken before us. After they took our order, we sat and waited for 20-30 minutes, and we were presented a dish we didn?t order. That was when they found out they forgot to put the order in altogether. They did apologize for the mistake, butby now, the people who came in after us are finishing up their entrees, and we haven?t even gotten an appetizer. After another10-15 minute wait, we finally got our food. I will say the food here is very good. From their appetizers to entrees, I wouldn?tsay I have a single complaint about the food. I finished my food, but my friend still had about half her bowl left. We weregiven a bill, but the server haven?t even asked us if we were finished up even with my friends plate of food still being full.We wanted dessert as well, so we had to wait for them to come back, and then order the dessert. Overall, the food here isamazing, but the service I was given was just disappointing. It was like we were neglected and forgotten. Read more

I enjoyed the Dumpling Soup. I did ask for some soy sauce as they do not put soy sauce on tables and they brought me some really... good soy sauce from the kitchen. Much better soy sauce than the typical packets. It made the soup even better. The sweet spicyfried chicken wings are good too. It's a small place with about 8 tables. The service was good and they keep it clean. Read more

Most authentic Korean cuisine in state of RI! The chef used to work in 5 star hotel back in Seoul ;)

Kimchi stew was very flavorful but lacked much meat. The bulgolgi bibimbop was wet (rice must not have been drained well) and... very bland. It was also served cold, thankfully I had ordered the stone pot which heated it up after many mixings. Chicken gyozawas average. Good presentation and service. Read more

Authentic and well priced! We were staying in the neighbourhood and were craving some Korean food and since Bapsang had the... highest score, we gave it a try. We ordered ttugbaegi (hot pot) bulgogi stew with spicy kimchi, galbitang (beef bone soup), andbeef japchae (stir fried sweet potato noodles). All were very good and tasted authentic! For the price, they were prettygenerous with the meat portion. They forgot to gave us the utensils but that?s not a big deal. Definitely would come back ifwe?re in the area! Read more
