Ate here last weekend and was very disappointed. I ordered the fish tacos and they were small with barely any fish and totally... lacked in flavor. They did provide a large serving of refried beans and rice but those items don?t really work forme. According to my husband, his meal was mediocre at best. Awesome food when you sit in their dining room, and order take out! My family needed a last minute caterer for a family party... and El Tapitio came though! The manager, Pedro, was easy to work with and when we picked the large order up it was ready on timeand hot. Everything was delicious! Read more

I planned to have dinner there today. I have a highly trained and certified service animal ( I am legally blind and he is a... seeing eye dog). My dog is well trained and well behaved. I was told I could not bring the dog inside the restaurant as theydid not allow animals. I explained that my dog was not a pet but a certified service animal. I told Carlos, the host, that itwas against the law to deny me access with my dog and that service animals were allowed in all public places. I was stilldenied access. I told Carlis that I would be filing a complaint. I have eaten in many restaurants in Rhode Island and this isthe first time I have encountered this discrimination. I will not ever eat there and will advise everyone I know not to gothere. Read more

Went to Rhode Island for a couple of days and a friend recommended this place... I was so glad I went,, the food was awesome,... felt like homemade Mexican food, great margaritas & our waiter was great too. The place looks very nice and clean. I woulddefinitely recommend!!! Read more

The Building Gorgeous upon entering the decorations are fascinating you feel like your in a tiny villa. First they bring you the... tortillas with salsa then the drinks you order waiter was very polite and attentive to our needs. El Tapatio is one of the best! It's family owned, like the family legit works there. Hard working and so so nice! Drinks were... tasty. Food was phenomenal. Fish tacos were so yummy.
