I have passed this pub many times and finally stopped for lunch with my friend. From the minute we walked in we knew we made a... good choice. It was clean, had a nice clean smell, no odor of cooked food or smoke, dining tables were clean and set withplacemats, napkins, silverware and a very extensive menu. Looking over the menu the choices held more surprises. It wasn’tjust your typical burgers and dogs, these were unexpected choices and all sounded great. Our server came over and took our drinkorder, answered some menu questions and we placed our order. Service was good. Our lunch was delicious and the prices beyondreasonable. I have seen this place pop up on my Facebook all the time so I thought I'd give it a try since I'm looking for a new... neighborhood bar. Well let me tell you - it IS the place to go! My server that day was a bubbly and bright lady with a hugesmile named Judy. :) Judy made me feel welcome from the moment she said hello and that's important when it's your first timein a new bar. I found a spot along the bar that did not have a machine in front of me and i made myself comfortable. Judy hadjust made a tropical margarita that looked delicious so I got one too and let me tell you it was amazing!! I ordered streettacos to go with it. The Carne asada tacos were really yummy! Everyone I met there that day was kind and friendly includingthe owner, Jimmy. I look forward to going back again and again!! This bar is super cheap, delicious, and great service. Their happy hour goes crazy as well. Overall, a complete hit in my book.... Nice vibe too, kind staff. Read more
My wife and I decided to give this place a shot, and to say the least, we were NOT disappointed! My wife had the calzone and I... had an amazing burger that was so perfectly cooked and the calzone, you can see that thing of beauty for yourself, we willdefinitely be back 100 times over! Read more
I have been lurking on the Facebook page for a long time just observing all the good reviews and seemingly fun atmosphere... telling myself "we need to try North Star." I've driven past the building time and time again telling my kids "we need to trytheir takeout." Well when I had family in town this week and we were looking for new places to try, I finally had a reason! wesat on the patio because we brought our teenagers but I couldn't have been happier with the service. and don't even get mestarted on the food. Incredible! I ordered my burger well done, which usually means it will be a little dry but not this time!All of us were really happy with our food. Upon arrival I noticed that this place provides wifi. However the staff did not know how to share the log in information with... me. I must emphasize there are numerous bars in the valley with marketing offers. The reason for my visit was to participate ina social media promotion. Moreover this marketing promotion was a failure. The links provided on the website were erroneous. Thestaff was not aware of the promotion. Ultimately, my associate decided to not stay in this establishment and we will not bereturning because of poor marketing strategy. Have a nice day! Read more
The food quality and service are always exceptional here. My wife and I both ordered Chef salads with slightly different... modifications. They were both received as ordered and way more food than anywhere in the area. Don’t miss this place! Read more
I usually enjoy having dinner at this place, they have an excellent food and good service especially the server names Esther.... But on July 16, 2022, I’m very disappointed with the service. I understand they only have two servers working. And they’renot really busy. They delivered my husband’s food about 10 minutes after the server takes our order and we wait for my food(street tacos and tater tots). When I ask the server about my food, I got my street tacos after waiting for another 20 minutesand still forget my tater tots. I won’t be coming back to this place anymore. It’s very horrible service!!!! Update: Idecided to give this place another chance, but the service still sucks. The server put someone else’s order on myorder….it’s a shame, the food is great but very horrible service!!!!! Read more
