Showed up around noon. No one was there to meet up. So after several minutes of saying hello, is anyone there? I walked back... into the kitchen and saw the young male fully engaged with the girl about 10ft from the register and the middle age guy was inthe back making a pizza. I said hi, I'm ready when you are and the young kid begrudgingly came out. Fast forward through thestandard pizza ranch quality food (like chucky cheese 20 years ago, if you haven't been here) and to the game room. 4 games arebroken, and judging by the high price for mediocre pizza ($16 a plate), someone is drawing too large of a salary or they'refailing as a business. The broken games have no signs, but they do take your money. Then you get to deal with the young malekid telling you oh yeah, it's, like, broken. Then explaining that one of the broken games doesn't take your money if it doesn'tmake a certain sound. It's fairly annoying. Normally is a good exp here, but apparently when there's no adult supervision, thekids just play. Read more
Steve & I have lunch at Pizza Ranch in North Liberty often. They are so friendly! They always say "Let us know if you want... something but don't see it on the Buffet. Ask us & we'll get it". They are great! The food is delicious. They have ice creamtoo!!! Read more
This is the location that I normally go to. I can't recall any bad experiences. The food is always good and stocked. Staff is... always very friendly. The place is always clean. I recently went to another location and it really made me appreciate this one! Read more
This is a Pizza and Chicken Buffet. The current Manager of this place is doing an outstanding job. You can here him training... his young employees in a positive manner. He is constantly keeping the buffet filled and the tables cleaned. I have been goingto this particular pizza ranch for what feels like 20÷ years. My youngest daughter worked here. This is currently the best ithas ever been run. All of the food was fresh and hot. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is a buffet and I justcan't give a buffet 5 stars. Read more
We had an amazing experience today. They didn't have much pizza out when we arrived around 400 pm, but immediately the staff... member asked what we would like. They made 3 different pizzas that we mentioned. He also informed us chicken was just about tocome out. The owner came by to check on everything and my son said "this is the best time I have ever had here". He returnedabout 10 minutes later with a $5 card for the games. My son's eyes lite up. We originally went to only eat before heading towards our homes. We had a busy afternoon at my Nephew's Birthday Party. However,... my boyfriend and I decided to have some fun and play some games after we ate. It was such a great time! We had so much funracing each other in MarioCart. I Won that one. ???? We had fun playing skee ball and wack a clown. Lol. Then we let the kidsside out and exchanged winning tickets for some cute little prizes. Not only were the games fun, but the staff was also super,super nice! The buffet was also delicious. Along with the desert pizza and ice cream! I would recommend Pizza Ranch!
