After waiting over a half hour to get our order we found out after 10 minutes ALL ORDERS HAD TIMED OUT. I took my receipt to... the counter and was given TWO COMPLETELY WRONG ORDERS, even when the counter person had the receipt in her hand. This is my 3rdnegative experience at this location. Tried the app out today. Generally, when you mobile order you do so with the intent of shortening the time on site at pickup.... Instead, Popeye's on McCain (don't know if all of them do this, just know this one) doesn't even start your order til youarrive. Kind of defeats the purpose. The lines for drive through and inside were large, furthering the wait. They do have amobile ordering pick up sign but they will attend to everyone in the line at register before speaking to you - so again, kindadefeats the purpose. The manager said they don't start the orders because frequently people never show up and the food iswasted. That's thrifty of them, except the app requires you to pay for the food before sending the order so even if that istrue, the company isn't out any $$. Also, the orders show up on the register NOT printed out somewhere, and even after the girldeigned to look for mine, she couldn't find it. Took the manager (and another 10 minutes) to find it and then another 10 minutesto fill it. In total, not counting the time I spent downloading their app and ordering, I spent almost 40 minutes waiting forfood I ordered more than 30 minutes before arriving. I was told that *somewhere* on the app it *allows* me to *check in* whichwill tell them I am on site so they start working on the order. They were exceptionally busy inside and out, their workers wereall moving along at a good pace and plenty of orders were being filled, just not mine. I would have saved over 20 minutes if Ihad NOT pre-ordered/pre-paid for my food. Also, I don't know why but this particular location frequently forgets the applepies...I've ordered here before (sans app) and on 4 out of 6 orders they forgot the desserts despite double checking and asking.If you are unlucky enough to drive off before discovering it, they will not give you one because "they don't know that youdidn't do something with it or eat it already." I like this place for customers service alone, the woman at the Drive thru forgot to turn her headset off, after taking my order... I heard all the juicy Gossip going on at Popeyes ????????????when she realized I could hear her she apologized and we both had alaugh ????I was in and out in no time the food was hot and fresh! Chicken is good as well as the service in the restaurant. The people are nice and friendly too. The shrimp however are TINY and... look like they're double fried. They should be called crumbs of shrimp. Not a lot of meat. Read more
