I went in today to get a sausage egg croissant. They were just sitting out on the counter. Eggs go bad so fast. Not even under a... heat lamp. I did not notice that yesterday. Who knows how long they were left out. I thought they made them there but now I havemy doubts. The one I bought yesterday was really chewy. Now I know why. The lady then throws it in the microwave like she isgoing bowling!! Someone needs to contact the health department. I won't be back. I wonder where the donuts are made? I went to this Shipley's location on JFK boulevard because I was in the area and my son wanted some donuts. The drive-thru moved... quickly but they got my order wrong and I must say that I like Daylight donuts much better than Shipley's. The donuts here atShipley's tasted more like bread that was sweetened, it was thick and chewy. A donut is supposed to be light and fluffy but youwill not find that here. After they did not get my order correct and I had already paid for it I told them I did not feel that Ishould be charged 50 cents on my debit card, that's to cover a purchase less than $5, for them to ring me up one more donut,since they did not get things correct when I paid the first time around. I could not understand what the woman said but I thinkshe just decided to give it to me because I drove off with it anyhow. I wish I had realized there was a daylight donuts justacross the street or I would have gone there to begin with. Read more
Since the Shipley's Donuts have been franchised out it has not been the same as the original Shipley's. I happened to stop in... Monday morning and I found this place to be very close to Shipley's Do-Nuts they taste wonderful please stop by and give themyour support cuz they are really good Read more
Their bacon and cheese croissant is my favorite! I think that their donut holes are better than daylight in my opinion
I enjoyed my surprise trip to Shipley's donuts today. On my way home on a route that I don't usually take, I spotted the open... sign and quickly turned in. The staff were super friendly and the store was super clean. I got my donuts and left. Even theyoung customer coming in as I was leaving held the door open for me (such nice welcomed manners in these days). Sitting on mycouch, I think I swallowed the first one WHOLE. I don't remember it touching my tongue or my teeth just straight down the throatto the stomach. Lol, just kidding but almost. I was so happy to find they opened a new Shipley on JFK within the last year. This location is my new go-to when I come into... town to visit family. The super cute area inside is updated compared to the other locations. Friendly service and everything wasfresh and hot. This is the way I want to start every morning. Great job! Read more
This specific location is a great place for breakfast. All of the ladies that work there are so kind and welcoming. I usually... get a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a cinnamon twist and yes....they are both delicious. We go every Saturday morning,sometimes several days a week. Read more
