The boys and I went to ScoopDog tonight and had a very good experience. The drive-thru moved quickly because someone was coming... around to take our order. The frozen custard was delicious and they did not skimp on the toppings. I ordered a turtle concreteand it was perfect. The boys had a fudge brownie concrete and they gave it high marks. Read more

Wow talk about a hole in the wall place. This place, while not a looker is deceptively good! Pictured is the banana bread... concrete. My only complaint is that (with the possibility of me just not reading well) the menu is sort of confusing. First - no debit or credit cards are accepted. Bring cash or checks. Aside from that inconvenience, I was MOST impressed and... have EVERY intention on returning and bringing friends! I was met at the drive-thru window by a most pleasant and patient ownerwho walked me thru the menu and made several great recommendations. The Golden Retriever (warm bread pudding with custard andcaramel) was UH-MAZE-ING!! My Detroit dog included chili, cheese, and onions on the all-beef hotdog and definitely didn'tdisappoint either.
