Quality of food is poor lacks ALOT of flavor, for the amount everything cost is definitely not worth the price. The fried squid... tasted like plain egg whites. The yummy roll was not so yummy and dry. The special fried rice was meh ????. Overall I was highlydissatisfied with my food experience and will NEVER place a order here again. Read more
Stopped here for a quick lunch. Entered and stood at the hostess stand the cook from the back told us we could just sit... anywhere. Waitress was very nice but I assume she was new and didn't speak good English. I asked for garlic butter and she saidthey didn't have it but started naming drinks they had. I was sure she was confused so I asked another server walking by aftershe left and they did in fact have it. Ordered Miami Heat rolls as I always do they never let me down. Also ordered steak,chicken, and shrimp fried rice in which she missed the shrimp part. No bid deal I still ate it. Rice is always just ok, need toadd things to it for flavor. Food came out timely. Place wasn't packed but waitress didn't check on us much hence why I felt shewas new because the other waitress (the one who got my garlic butter) checked on her tables regularly. Didn't know they startedadding gratuity automatically and also a homeless tax (never ever heard of this so I googled it once I left) in which they can.Also didn?t know they charged for eel sauce. I ate calamari, shrimp, scallops and fried rice. My wife ordered sushi. It was a disaster! The seafood was too salty to eat but... had no other spice used on it. The rice is bland, no spice at all. The side of salad served with the food was just a bowl fullof iceberg lettuce, the cheapest and a few sliced cucumbers. The shredded carrots you see on top were served with the sushi. Wewere hungry but still we left food on the table. Even the miso soup came out cold. It was a disaster. The only good thing wasthe few pieces of cooked zucchini. Adding insults to injury, they changed me 18% of my bill before they gave me the Bill. So ifI wasn't paying attention, I would have given them an additional 18% as they were suggested. So in total I would have paid 36%more of my original bill. That's called organized SCAM. Read more
They have a location in Miami Lakes and Doral. Go there! The sushi was just okay. I really can't rate it. They charge $1 extra... for the spicy mayo but only give you about 2 tablespoons of it. The teriyaki chicken was not worth the price. Served with whiterice with more sauce than chicken. The egg drop miso soup had about one egg and again just okay. The host possibly had a badday/ evening. He was not rude but he certainly wasn't friendly or excited about being there. Overall I rate this location 3stars for just okay. I passed by there many times, but never went in to try their food. I finally went in few weeks ago while I was in the area after... work. The atmosphere feels good. I ordered a ramen soup for an appetizer, which was not too appealing. The taste of the soup wasa bit sweet. The tuna avocado salad was actually pretty good. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Overall,this is not a place I will go back again nor recommend to others right now. The main reason is that there are so many Japanesestyle restaurants to choose from, which they were not within the standard. Hopefully, they will improve and make themselves abetter competitor.
