Good portion sizes, good appearance, but no spice to the food - definitely made for tourists who don't like flavor on the their... food. $3.99 margarita didn't have much alcohol but tasted good. Friendly staff, good food, nice decor. I was happy until I got the bill with a 4% service charge to use a card. This should be... posted, and hostess/server should tell you before ordering so you can choose to go get cash. I know restaurants pay a smallminimal fee to process cards, but not 4%! Finally we have found a great Mexcan restaurant in NMB! Started with a great ambiance and decor - fantastic lights everywhere.... Service from our new friends Kath, our server, and Gerson, the manager was outstanding!! Drinks were delicious, JalapenoMargarita and Grandrita are definitely recommended. The menu offers something for everyone. My bride was pleased with herdelicious carne asada tacos and I FINALLY had my Birrios Tacos - pulled beef tacos (no store bought hard shells) and amazingcheese enchiladas with s traditional enchilada red sauce. Very stylish and bright inside. Music was too loud though. Until the live music started, then it was ok. The entertainment was... great. I was a bit concerned because the first booth we sat at had water dripping from hvac system onto me and table. Jonathan was accommodating and moved us. Then we had a dirty knife but it was quickly replaced. The chimichanga are great,refried beans tasty, cool little taco shell salad bowl but the ricecc be was way over cooked and no seasoning. My wife had thequesadilla which was very tasty. Wait staff was good and they all looked happy and energetic. Jonathan was very attentive towhat was happening throughout the establishment.
