Joes is an absolute staple. I?ve been coming to Myrtle Beach for 20+ years and I promise that the wings here are the best you... can get. The other items on the menu are no doubt good, but the wings are what make them famous. They?re fried to absoluteperfection with just the right amount of crisp, and the meat is fall off the bone tender. The sauces are amazing. Mild is yourtypical Buffalo sauce, gold (my favorite) is like a sweet and tangy barbecue, and hot is just the right amount of heat - spicybut to the point that it compliments the flavor. Too many wing joints fall into the trap that spicy has to be some kind ofchallenge to see who can eat the hottest wings. Whatever. Joes does everything right and the prices are extremely fair. An absolute gem. We arrived for a late lunch to find they were still in the lunch rush (a good sign for an eatery). We were... seated after just a few minutes, and the waitress was quick and attentive (Southern hospitality in true fashion). The hamburgerwas the best I've ever had - cooked but still juicy, onions were grilled sweet but not over browned, the slaw complimented thesandwich. The fries and onion rings were done correctly. Stopped here Thursday afternoon (7/14) for lunch. Relatively busy but we were greeted and seated immediately. My wife and I both... got cheeseburgers. I had the slaw, my wife had fries. Everything was hot. Burgers were great, fries perfectly done & the slawwas really good. The staff was great. Perfect level of attention without that feeling that they are hovering. Outside there isplenty of parking - many spots are shaded. Inside has a nice almost homey feel. I will absolutely be back. Be aware that theyonly take cash - but there is an ATM. The quintessential cheese burger. While Hamburgers Joes isn?t fancy, it serves a fantastic cheese burger with just a couple... toppings. I was shocked at how tasty this classic cheeseburger was. Fries and onion rings were excellent. I left knowing I wouldbe back. Read more
Me and my wife ordered a couple of cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings and they were all really good. Their fries are real good... and their onion rings are light and fluffy just like I like. The burger wasn't the greatest, but it was good and I like the factthat they shred their lettuce and dice their onions. The only problem we had was getting non sweetened tea instead of the sweettea like we ordered. The waitress wasn't too friendly but she did fix the problem & we had a pleasant lunch overall. Very rude responses from owner I see , no class or grace . I have given them 3 tries . All 3 times the worst hamburger and... fries I have ever had. I was told the French fries were extra this I new but I received a plain hamburger ? The French frieswere cold and not crispy . The chicken wings were over cooked . Also You should really share its cash only when you seatcustomers and take orders . Food needs some real attention . I will not be returning because the food has been horrible on 3different occasions ! Response to owners question where have I been eating ? I have traveled around the world and have had manywonderful experiences . You will lose customers with this attitude also if the food quality stays the same ! Read more
The servers were super nice. The hamburgers/cheeseburgers were fresh and a great value. Skip the chicken tenders which makes... sense at a burger joint. This is a place that's a no nonsense burger spot. Fine to take the kids for an easy meal. Read more
