I used to love coming here. We visit our kids in Carolina Shores so we stay in North Myrtle Beach several times a year. This... might be our last time for awhile. Fountain drinks were unavailable. I get that. STUFF happens. The place was dark and justblah. The pizzas were so overpriced, that we should have left. The store or management has either given up or ownership changed.The pizzas were good, no doubt! But the overall experience by the 4 of us was very mediocre and expensive. Only a great couponand a much better effort by the restaurant will get us back. Our son does love one of the pizzas there, so maybe a carryout isin his future. 3 stars. Read more

Casual energy filled atmosphere only heightens your selection with a twist on creative pizza ????! Gluten Free option available.... Actively absorb the energy of the menu as the ingredients spur curiosity amongst your taste buds. Highly suggest the dine inoption to enjoy the outdoor seating or grab a game of corn hole on the patio with family or new friends. My family and I came to Mellow Mushroom because I wanted to eat pizza. We arrived at 7pm and waited about an hour to even get... seated. When we were walking to our seats, I noticed there were open booths so they could've seated us sooner. We ordered 1large pizza and another medium pizza along with other stuff. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for pizzas that they weren't evencooking because they didn't have any dough. Why didn't they tell us immediately if they didn't have dough? We sat there for overan hour before they even told us they couldn't make them. Okay whatever. We order whatever we can off the menu at this pointbecause we're all frustrated. We waited another 30 minutes before staff come back and basically told us they didn't even startfixing our food. After hearing this, my dad told them to just cancel the order and we left. This service is absolutelyunacceptable. You'd think a pizza place would have dough. Read more
I believe in redemption. I am a Mellow Mushroom lover so I just had to stop after our dolphin cruise at Myrtle Beach.... Unfortunately, there was a long wait for food, my order had to be sent back, no clean silverware, a rude waitress (not ours),etcetera. I sought out the manager who was genuinely embarrassed and apologized profusely. He and our server worked very hard torectify our issues which included comping our meal, to a great extent. I am not one to gloss over issues and if I did, Ishouldn't have your confidence to trust the reviews I give. I will say however, I believe in second chances and with all thathas happened to us collectively over the past few years, we all need to be shown some grace. Blu totally made our trip to Mellow Mushroom amazing! She was really sweet and attentive. Like all Mellow Mushrooms the interior... is super cool and the pizza.... my goodness the pizza. I'm vegan and if you are too then you can know how it's really hard tofind a satiating meal sometimes. Mellow mushroom uses follow your heart cheese and I swear on my life this is some of the bestvegan pizza you can get! I always order garlic and olive oil as the base, vegan cheese, and jalapenos. Yeah yeah I know it'ssimple but I swear this stuff is so stinking good. Definitely check out Mellow mushroom if you're in the area and have an arrayof dietary restrictions in your group, there's something for everyone! Also, they have the best kind of ice. Read more
This was my first time ordering here. I was served mostly brown lettuce. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. They gave me the... tiniest amount of chicken, I mean less than half of a very small breast. The pizza was burnt, the wings were supposed to be hotand they were burnt and naked instead. We did not order crispy. They completely forgot to give us an order of garlic cheesebread and yes we paid for it. The veggie calzone was good so if you're gonna order that would be it. The sauce on the sidetastes a little burnt. To top it off we've called several times to let them know they forgot to put the garlic cheese bread inthe bag and no one answers.
