We highly recommend Rapone Brick Oven. The fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken was excellent, as was the baked rigatoni... which they prepared without ricotta as my husband requested. Disgusting! Calamari undercooked, hope I don't get food poisoning. Margarita pizza is not really a margarita, just look at the... photo, they could not even place the basil evenly and does not have fresh tomatoes, just the same sauce as the other pizzas. Disgusting, horrid place... All Pizzas burnt underneath and soggy on top. Service was ok, but did nothing when complained aboutthe food. Almost $70 wasted on three bad pizzas and an undercooked appetizer. We left and and had a decent meal at another brickoven pizza restaurant, a chain, but at least I know the quality is consistent. The food here is impossibly good. Whatever you do, always check the specials, they are amazing. And if they happen to have... risotto on any of the specials don?t look at any other items on the menu, Just order the risotto, you will not bedisappointed!!! Read more
This place has an old school Italian feel to it. I have eaten a lot of Italian food and pizza over the years, some of in the... traditional Italian neighborhoods, and this foog quality was right there with the best of them. My group had veal parm, chickenalfredo, and the deli stromboli. Each of us thought our meals were the best. I was very tempted to get a pizza but wentstromboli as not a lot of places offer those. Pizzas that other guests had look excellent as well so it was a harddecision. As an added bonus, there was no wait when we got there and the prices were very reasonable. Read more
We very much enjoyed our food tonight. Hubby had pizza-he ate 2/3s and said it was great, I had chicken parm-the best I've ever... had hands down! Kids got spaghetti and lasagna and they inhaled them down. The bread is great too fresh and crisp on the outsideand soft on the inside. They have deserts too but we ate too much dinner for a desert. Also the couple beside us said they werevisiting for the last week and had ate there 3 times already, all I can say is man I wish they were in my hometown! Loved it! Read more
I'm slowly making my way through all the pizza shops. So far this is the spot. I ordered take out because it was close to... closing but the place has a cool atmosphere. The brick oven pizza is great and the prices were surprisingly low compared to theother brick ovens in town. My taste was they could have used another minute for a little more crunch but you can tell the doughwas high quality. Don't get discouraged by the outside looks, this place is the real Italian deal. Pizza dough is absolutely the best, made with... 00 flour and cooked to perfection. We also ordered mussels as an appetizer ????, a random client passed by our table andrecommended it. He knew what he was talking about because those muscles cooked in wine were delicious.
