Absolutely delicious! We finally tried this place and glad we did. We got the steak and lamb, and for dessert got the oreo... cheesecake and dessert waffle. This is my first visit to this location. The food and presentation were great. Out waiter was very informative but slipped... towards the end because needed refills of water which didn't happen. Slightly a bit over priced for what you get. Recommendedfor special occasions only. Read more

We tried Sea Blue for the first time on Valentine's night, probably one of the busiest nights of the year. We were simply blown... away!!! We were greeted right away by Andrew. He explained our table wasn't quite ready but seated us at the bar. Tracy wasbartending and was the friendly person who helped my husband earlier in the day with reservations. She made a Sour Appletinithat was delicious! We had just been served our drinks when Andrew came back over to seat us. Jacob was our server who explainedthe menu and how some of the items would be served. Excellent service!! We loved Jacob!! The food was absolutely incredible.Tracy recommended a Chardonnay that paired perfectly with my Crabcake appetizer and Seafood Risotto. My husband's NY strip wasthe best he has had in a long time. My partner and I dined in and WOW! What a treat! The bartender made us the Autumn Spiced old-fashioned and the Backberry Smash... while we waited at the bar. We immediately ordered their Cheeseboard when we were seated for our reservation, and our serverwas AMAZING! He made spectacular suggestions with his extensive wine knowledge, and the level of service was remarkable, courseby course! I had the Holland Dover sole and my partner had their USDA PRIME (mind-blown) Cowboy Ribeye with a side of creamspinach, and truffle parmesan fingerling potatoes. We were looking for an upscale restaurant for our anniversary dinner. It was evident as soon as we walked in how the energy/vibe... created by the staff and their attentiveness to details made us feel like family, If I lived in Myrtle Beach this would be amust go for fine dining. We could write about the drinks, appetizers and large plates but I don't think I could do them justice.In the end, if you are looking for a fabulous dining experience, make a reservation you won't regret it. One of the best dining experiences on the Grand Strand!!! I was totally impressed by the service, food and amazing atmosphere... experience. The roasted beets with cheese was excellent, everything else was only tolerable. Scallops were much too salty and were overly... cooked, steaks were cooked properly but considering the price they were not near as tender as they should have been. Waitresswas very attentive and knowledgeable especially at first that tore the latter part of the meal she seemed to disappear.Definitely will not be back. I genuinely appreciate the fact that the owner/manager defended his establishment. That shows thathe appreciates the business he has and doesn't mind voicing that opinion. Granted I did not take the time to speak to thewaitress about the food nor did I complain to management. I did not wish to call attention to these problems while in such afancy restaurant. I have had these same scallops at several fine restaurants in Myrtle Beach as well as prepared them myself athome. I do understand what a seared crust is but it should not be so thick that it is tough to bite through and the salt shouldnot overpower the taste of the scallop. Casting aspersions against my taste and palate does not improve the quality of yoursteak. If you want to taste a good steak go to New York Prime or feel free to come to my house and I will prepare you one thatwill melt in your mouth.
