So disappointing? I?ve walked out of here 4 times in the last month empty handed. They just don?t stock half the flavors they... used to. No Buckeye, Almond Joy or any other of their signature flavors. We used to come here twice a week and always had theircustard in our freezer yet now we?re having to go to melt or burgerfi for sweet treats. Our last quart we had from them was thecookies and cream and it literally had 1 cookie in a tub of vanilla custard. I get it they?re under new owners but like anythingelse down here it seems they build a name and a brand following just to sell it and the next owner runs the business in theground. I really don?t give this place another 6-9 months before it?s gone unless something changes quickly. It?s so unfortunateas we?ve loved their custard but now it?s mediocre at best. The soft serve isn't what we're used to and that's the only reason I gave them 4 stars. The service was great and the ice cream... tasted good. We are from NJ and really enjoy soft serve custard twist on a cone. So that's what we thought we could get. Theclosest thing to that was like a mix in. Delicious custard! Friendly staff! We stopped by during a road trip and it was worth the slight detour. Flavor of the day and... flavor of the week were top notch! Black raspberry and butter pecan. Would come back if we?re in the area, much better than icecream! So creamy and smooth! Read more
I went about 8:30pm and there was a small line out the door. A group of people came out and said it's pretty much one girl doing... all the work. People complained how another girl was sitting there on her phone. I use to manage a small popcorn/ice cream shopso I know how it can suddenly get slammed. My thought were maybe she was taking her break. When we ordered we were served quick.They did say card only and told the people after me cause they were out of ones which I wish I had known cause I always carrycash for tips and had maybe $15 in ones. I had a vanilla shake with hot caramel and enjoyed it. The prices were more thanpreviously posted pictures. I think maybe .25-.50 cents more. My kids loved the little treat. Love Whit's Frozen Custard!! First found it in Florida and we look for Whit's wherever we travel to. I can eat frozen custard... without having any issues like I do with ice cream so we're always looking for frozen custard!! Whit's has a flavor of the daywhich changes daily throughout the month!! Their flavors are so good too; we had Buckeye....peanut butter custard with choppedup peanut butter cups with a peanut butter swirl!!! So good!! Today is Carmel Nut Brownie!!!!
