I'm not a guy that posts reviews of restaurants but I'm compelled to for this location. The North Ogden Cafe Rio has got to be... one of the worst Cafe Rio experiences I've ever had. I'm typically a fan of the restaurant chain but this location struggles onmany fronts. As other reviewers mentioned, the restaurant is typically a mess. It's common for the drink station to be void ofmany options, long long lines and wait times, and if your order has everything in it, which in my experience isn't usually thecase, it's likely to be an underwhelming flavor experience. I'd highly recommend instead going down the street to Bella's FreshMexican Grill. It's local, the food is great, and the cost is about the same. Hopefully this location can get it figured outbecause North Ogden City in general lacks many good eating options. Read more
What is the point of offering curbside pickup if they make you go inside to get it yourself anyway? I had a knee injury so I... ordered curbside thinking I wouldn?t have to get out of my car. I waited for 20 minutes (and don?t bother calling because thenumber goes to some sort of call center) before I finally went inside and grabbed my order. The cherry on top was I had to walkpast a table of 5 employees that were just sitting around talking. Best location in the area! Looks like it has been cleaned up with nicer tables. Majority of staff was super friendly that... evening ( Monday) . We had a good meal and even my kids were eating. The two guys working were definitely enjoying teamwork.Loved the dude that started the Nacho song. (Too bad that one sour faced woman didn't join and walked off. ) And thanks tothe staff member keeping tables clean etc...she was working hard with my toddlers mess but so polite. I'll be back. Not that I had high expectations for this place, but everything was overwhelmingly bland. Small portions with a bigger price tag... than Costa Vida. I was only hoping for something on par with Taco Bell and they still couldn't even hit a bar set that low.Won't make the mistake of ordering from here again. Read more
The line was super long when I got there but they got people in & out pretty quickly!! The food was delicious! I got what I... always get when I visit UT- The Sweet Pork Salad with tomatillo ranch!! Got the sweet pork quesadilla for the kids 10/10Definitely Recommend!! Read more
I ordered a tostada to go from the North Ogden location. I got home and ate half of it before I noticed there was a beetle... crawling around in my food. I get mistakes happen, but I don?t think I can bring myself to go back to Cafe Rio after this. Read more
Cafe Dirtio Friendly but slow and confused inexperienced staff. Ran out of lots of food options by 7:30 Super disgusting dirty... floors and tables. I found a bottle of what I hope was cleaning solution and a rag sitting around and I used it to scrub ourtable but some of the food has been kicked on there for so long it will not come off. Food all over the ground that hasn't beencleaned up in what seems like years. Hiring signs so they are probably having a hard time getting workers because of federalgovernment unemployment benefits during covid, but they are offering a maximum pay that is lower than McDonald's entry level pay Read more
