Wow!! My new favorite restaurant in the Englewood area other than the Beach Road Wine Bar & Bistro. The Greek menu here is... diverse & food presentation beautiful with fresh ingredients that were perfectly seasoned. We had the Olive Spread, Borscht,Greek American Salad, Eggplant Olympus, Gyro Platter & Lamb Shank - everything was amazing!! And the homemade tzatziki sauce wasthe ?icing on top? - will definitely make this a regular stop. It doesn?t have the waterside ambiance of the Wine Bar but foodis on par - with cute & clean indoor dining, friendly staff, pleasant music (not too loud - staff even asked how we liked themusic) & even has a little Greek market. Opa!! Finally hit the "Greek Grill and Gallery" we stopped in between lunch and dinner. Refreshed with thirst quenching Greek... IPA and Pilsner, and Roditys wine. We enjoyed off the spit Gyros and creamy Tarmosalta, fish roe dip with pita triangles. Verytasty, brought us back to "Greek Town Chicago". We thoroughly enjoyed the Grilled Octopus and a delightful well seasonedMousaka, what a fluffy creamy filling, grilled vegetables rounded out the diner and a slice of Baklava Cheesecake to try at homelater. Very Very delicious food!! I loved it, my husband loved it, my 6 year old loved it!! Something for every palate, good variety... of food, flavors are AMAZING! This is one of the best restaurants I?ve been to in the North Port area. The food is delicious, the service is great, the owners... are nice, and it?s like this every time we come! I can?t wait to go to Florida again and eat here! For dinner I ordered stuffedshrimp with a Greek side salad and a Greek yogurt cheesecake for dessert. Read more
Tried their gyros about 4 years ago and wasn?t impressed, the meat was really crispy. Decided to give them another try for this... birthday (I love to treat myself to a gyro for my birthday) So happy we decided to give them another chance. The gyro wasPERFECT!! Definitely filling. Love the atmosphere too. Quaint, nothing fancy but you feel cozy and at home. Service wasexcellent. Will visit again, preferably before my next birthday!!! Read more
We?ve dined in a few times now and have absolutely loved it! The service is great too. Our server today, Ana, was so sweet! The... gyro is a solid choice, and their tztaziki is great. I hate runny tzatziki and theirs is the perfect consistency. I also lovetheir variety of appetizers. We get the tiropita frequently, and have tried their hummus, olive, and feta dips in the past (alsodelicious). I also like that they have authentic borscht on the menu. Not necessarily a Greek dish, but a really nice EasternEuropean fix if you?re looking for that flavor! We can?t wait to give their new breakfast menu a try. Read more
