Great food all made to order! Got take out, and drove it about 15 mins home. Still was Great quality and enjoyed it a lot. ... They packaged up the hot and cold separate which so many places don?t take the time to do. Spent a few minutes chatting withthe family that runs it and they were very friendly. Definitely will go back and order from them again. The bread was terrific,Only small issue was we didn?t get the sauce that was supposed to come with it. Not a big deal just sounded exciting. My wife and I ate there recently. My Spaghetti Marinara was a two out of five. Watery, small portion, expensive. My wife's... primavera was outstanding, five out of five. Calamari appetizer was only average and overpriced. We did like the hometownatmosphere of the restaurant. I tip 20% at every restaurant, however, this is the first that added it to my bill. That was notappreciated. I understand how difficult it must be to run a restaurant in today's environment. The owners responses to some ofthese ratings do not help, and are a bit sad. Seems like a four or five star rating is the ticket to be allowed back in thisrestaurant. My three stars certainly would not qualify. Read more
To be honest, it wasn't what I expected. That being said the food was very good. I did get sticker shocked by the menu prices.... The location and the decor / atmosphere doesn't seem to warrant the$$. However the food was very good. We had eggplant parmesanand linguine puntanesca (?). You will also need not be in a hurry. Amazing food that's on par with my Dad's cooking. Rich, delicious flavors in every bite. However, word of warning to new... customers: The restaurant is understaffed, from what I heard. Only three people working there. However, this is justified,unlike the incident at Bluestone. We had a rude waitress while at Bluestone, who just wasn't motivated, and was obviouslyunjustified. The fresh bread! The garlic & olive oil spread! The fresh bruschetta! Oh, and the wine recommendation that perfectly paired with... my dinner! Nicoletta and Chris , the owners, are so attentive, kind and wonderful! Thank you, my husband and I could not havehad a more perfect date! This was our first time here and it won't be our last. The service is so personable and the food is cooked to order and taste... delicious. We had the Chicken Francessa and the Veal Marsala and they were both cooked to perfection. Wonderful restaurant,don't let the location fool you. The owner is the chef and he takes a lot of pride in his food. Great family ran restaurant. Definitely one of our new favorite restaurants. Mad it took us 4 years living here to find it. Read more
