I can't begin to express the disappointment I feel after attempting to have dinner here this evening. Myself and my 7-year-old... son were looking for a traditional Italian restaurant.... We read some great reviews about your restaurant and decided to giveit a go..... Unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in a very very long time..... Weliterally sat for (AN HOUR AND HALF)*** (BETTER?!?!?!) waiting for someone to fill our beverages and waiting for our food....We ended up leaving before we got a chance to eat..... One cup of lemonade for my son..one Sangria for me... Thank God we hadwater on the table. I'd love to make a comment about the food but like I said, we didn't get a chance to eat it FRESHLYCOOKED.... $78.00?! For one of the worst dining experiences EVER.... ALSO I READ YOUR RESPONSE WHICH SAID NOTHING ABOUT TAKINGANY RESPONSIBILITY..... Apparently it was too busy for you to handle French Fries and Chicken Tenders and Fruit Di Mare..... Literally my favorite restaurant, they make the best Eggplant Parm on this earth. I would give my life for it. Staff is always... friendly. Food comes out fast and is absolutely delicious every time. It's good. The 3 stars is only because it's the same restaurant you can find a million times over in Rhode Island. Typical... Americanized Italian comfort food. There's nothing here that's memorable but there's also nothing disappointing. When you wantto eat with the elderly this is the place. Parking is ok unless the lot is full. Restaurant is clean. Decor is rustic and alittle outdated. Food is good. Drinks, wines and cocktails aren't anything great. Service is alright. They were all miserablebecause they had a big party. Shouldn't be overwhelmed when all you have are 5 tables. And you certainly shouldn't let yourcustomers sense it on you. Welcome to ignorant Rhode Island. Delicious, hearty, rustic authentic Italian food. Bruschetta was a phenomenal start. Housemade pasta with bolognese and... meatballs had perfect texture and flavors were well balanced. Atmosphere is perfect for a date night but relaxed enough for acasual night out with friends. Staff was very attentive without making us feel rushed, a perfect balance of friendly service andletting us enjoy our time at the restaurant. We will be back! Read more
We are in the area Tuesdays we needed a good place to eat, problem is we're not local so we usually get treated that way at... places, NOT here treated like regulars from day 1 now we are 5 times in 6 weeks!
