ordered the wonton soup but definitely got something different (still wasnt bad). was given a little bit of trouble trying to... order a beer (was told they dont take new hampshire drivers licenses). wanted to order the steak but was told they were nolonger doing it, wound up getting the general gaus combo plate w pfr boneless spare ribs and egg roll. general gaus was fairlyspicy but still tolerable. rice was par for the course as chinese around here goes. spare ribs were a little thin/tender for myliking (but could just be that im used to subpar spare ribs from my local chinese places). egg roll was decent. overall not abad experience and a worthwhile one for the price (25 total including tip and tax). Have been going here for many years, since they opened and the kids were small. Love their food and the family who own China... Cuisine. They have all the standard items, reasonable prices for food and drinks, and make the most delicate gyoza. The familyhas always been supportive of local events, but in past months have teamed up with a local church to help raise funds forUkraine. I'm not sure if they've reached their goal already, but they've been matching customers' donations. Even though I livean hour away now, I still go here, both for the food and the people. Read more
Had the sushi here it was pretty good fresh not many people there when I was there so I was in and out fairly quickly.
Had the teriyaki salmon, the hot and sour soup, and the raccoon wonton. Very good and fast service.
Never been here before all the years I worked in North Reading. We had good service, speedy food order and the food was really... good and well priced. My only issue was when we got the bill. They charged us a "COV19 CLEANING CHARGE" like what? What are theydoing after we leave? Bringing in a team to pressure wash the booth? I'm pretty sure they are just whiping the booth and tabledown. But isn't that something that should be done after someone leaves a restaurant anyways? Idk I've never worked in the foodindustry so maybe I'm wrong. Anyways, I thought that was strange. Did an online order and was told it would take 20 mins. Reached after 20 mins and they had not even che ked the online ordering... system. Had to wait another 20 mins to get the order. Tried a few lunch specials for the family. The beef in the dish, had noflavor. The wonton soup broth also had no flavor. Tge wontons however were good. In all the kung pao chicken was the only onewith some flavor. Over all the food and experience was below average expectations from a well rated spot. Read more
