This location is closer to us but this is the 3rd time we've been there and will be the last. The food is always terrible... quality. It doesn't matter what time you go the chicken is DRY like it's been sitting for hours and hours. Tonight we went at5:30 and the chicken was so dry we couldn't chew it. The green beans were burned and mushy like baby food consistency and themacaroni looked like a solid blob of yellow vomit...not a single noodle just a glob of yellow. Clearly they don't care what kindof food they give out. Drive to another location or go to another chicken place...this will just be a waste of money becausenobody can eat the food they serve. This place is located next to a shell gas station at rufe snow and hightower. The people who own the gas station are amazing,... friendly, and have great customer service, the Golden chick not so much. Currently walked out of the store because the onlyperson who acknowledged my presence decided to take a phone call instead of helping her 2 customers that have been in line foralmost 10min with no service. Yes I'm timing..... I have ordered from them 4 times now, the food is great always fresh but theyalways forget something, once it was my fries,, once my okra,, and another time no gravy.....the orders or take forever ot theytake forever to give you service. This is my favorite Golden Chick to go to. Most of the time the food is cooked to order which is awesome because that means you... get it fresh. The manager is awesome and some of the employees are great and some of the young employees do need a courtesycourse and customer service. But other than that I do recommend you always find a place to get your food fresh Read more
I was greatly disappointed with this location. I ordered a 4 piece tender meal half spicy/half original with macaroni & cheese... and a side of fries. My tenders were cold, old, and about half the size they should be. My fries were half full. The gravy wasso watery and tasted of soap. Macaroni & cheese was good and the soda tasted good. The rest went into the trash. Very upsetting. Read more
I went here for the first time and was greatly disappointed when I found the chicken tenders to be greatly overcooked and... inedible. Moreover, they didn't have any yeast rolls either! I have been to different Golden Chik's throughout the area andthis one was the worst! It needs a new manager! Read more
Overall, definitely won?t visit this location again. The fries were aging and hard as rock, the gravy was cold upon eating my... meal and lastly the chicken tender was dry. I figured I would try this location out due to being close to my apartment but guessagain?. If you like your meals as I described this place is for you! Read more
Ordered online on a Sunday at 9:15pm. Online hours say open until 10pm. Hours on their door at the physical location also say... they're open until 10pm. Website took my order and my money. Arrived at the time it said my order would be ready, 9:40pm, andthey were closed. Gas station attendant said they'd been closed for an hour. Called and talked to the manager the next day andshe said they would refund my money if I could come up there, apologized and said they knew there was an issue with the websitetaking orders after they closed. Got up there and the GM basically accused me of lying even though I had the confirmation emailof my order which was time/date stamped. And they should have been able to check their own system to see it as well. Eventuallythey refunded my money but the rudeness with which I was treated when it was 100% their fault is enough to keep me from evergoing back. Read more
