It started as just filling up my tank at the new gas station, then I realized it was Tuesday, then I realized they had a taco... Tuesday special. After eating three tacos de trompo, I was amazed by the flavor, and how soft the tortillas were when I took abite from my tacos, the grilled pineapple and onions and salsa were also on point. Ordered 18 tamales from the one in NRH, TX on Blvd 26 for New Years; the red with pork, and the green with chicken and let me... tell you, those tamales were AMAZING! (And huge, see pics) We were served two 32 oz drinks while we waited, one horchata and onemango passion fruit Aqua Fresca for free, also excellent! We love this place since 6 years ago, my husband usually take us to this place at W carpenter little far away from us. But... yesterday when we found out inside on the sunoco gas station has this little business inside we though this is great no morelong trip to dine tacos de trompo. This place is located inside of a Break Time gas station convenience store. The food was flavorful and prepared to order.... Nonetheless, menu prices seemed rather high-priced when you consider it is quick service carry-out Mexican food ($14.00 for achimichanga plate). Read more
