Great pizza place just off of lonsdale. The pizza dough is thin and crisp. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Family owned and... operated, the owners are very attentive and take great pride in the pizza. Definitely a neighbourhood gem for pizza and pasta.Will definitely be back soon. Read more
At their recommendation/request, we picked up pizzas from Alberello to take to my parents' in North Van. They chose the salmon... and dill, and we also ordered the funghi and the Alberello. Everyone protested that we'd brought too much food (3 pizzas for 4adults), but in the end we only had half a pizza left over. The flavours on all three pizzas were great - adventurous enough tobe novel and interesting, but not too wild for 80-something year old palates. I'd recommend Alberello Pizzeria for trulyexcellent pizza, and friendly and courteous customer service. It's a lovely room, too! We'll definitely be back. Read more
This is one of the smallest restaurant I ever eat in. Quaint, charming and nice ambiance. Our waiter was excellent. We never... felt rushed, he attended to all aspects in an impeccable manner. We ordered the meat Lasagna, the portion was very generous…Iwas convinced I would not finish this large portion. All it took is a first bite, the flavours of this lasagna are amazinglygreat and the pasta was very light to eat. The owner came over asking if everything is OK, my reply way…this is one of thebest lasagna I had anywhere, and it was. And yes, I finished it! Great job to all of you. Read more

Went there on my way back after Garibaldi lake hike. Had vegetarian pizzas and focaccia bread. Pizza crust was on a crisper side... which I liked but my friends not as much. Toppings and over taste is good. Busy place over the weekend, better to reserve theplace before going. Ambiance and staff is nice. Read more
A nice place to enjoy a quieter dinner out. Pasta is great! Have not tried their pizza. Prices are great, especially their... Sunday specials. Staff is nice - they could have been a bit more attentive, but this was not a problem for us. Read more
Very enjoyable pizza and comfortable atmosphere. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. Prices for pizza’s are... fair as they are quite large and very filling. We ordered one pizza each for three of us and we all took 3 - 4 pieces home toenjoy the following day! Read more
Wanting an authentic pizza, we decided to try Alberello and were more than pleased. The crust was about perfect, ingredients... very fresh and very tasty. Marinara sauce instead of the more westernized pizza sauce melded the flavor and ingredientsperfectly. Pricing is in line with places like BP, but quality and experience make this place a winner.
