This restaurant was my first Filipino food in my life. I think it was the best choice. Amazing food!! My husband is afraid to... try new foods. But today he said it was a good choice. You can feel happy energy in this restaurant. They are very kind andpolite. I have already decided what menu to choose next. Thank you for the delicious food. Read more

The owner didnt even apologize in the reply LOL. See you when your restaurant closes in a few years. Very rude staff. Horrible... customer service, especially towards fellow filipinos. The issue isn't just the bad cooking quality of the food. Its incrediblygeneric for filipino food. The litson was dry and rubbery plus it was just hunks of fat on it. Not the crispy yet juicy litsonmost people are used to. I imagine its how a shoe would taste like. The garlic rice tasted like plain rice just garnished withfried garlic. That's like saying chocolate ice cream when its a cup of vanilla ice cream with crumb of chocolate on top. Iwould give it 2 stars if the "owner"? (rude and condescending lady with no eyebrows and has a very annoying voice) didn't havesuch a horrendous attitude. What a typical toxic filipino, ESPECIALLY towards other filipinos. I would encounter people like youwhen I visited the Philippines a few times in my life. Will never come back here again. You should try and run a canteen at aprison(it already looks like prison food) if you were going to interact with your customers that rudely and serve food of thatquality. I will bet my money your restaurant wont last another 2 years.. it doesn't deserve too either way. Rude woman. Read more

I've never had Filipino food so I cannot say if it's authentic. But I heard 2 people order in Tagalog so that was a good... sign. Lechon with garlic rice: really yummy, stayed crispy until many hours later. We got more garlic rice to go because it wasthat good, probably my favourite from everything we got Adobo chicken and pork: good flavour, tastes like there's a lot ofingredients Pork and tomato stew: This was good too Plain rice: I mean I guess it's good too We also got the pork blood stewto go because they said it was their favourite! Have not eaten it yet but I'm sure it tastes good. Next time I will try thelaing!! Read more

Had the chance to try the lechon belly and it was still crispy even if we heat it up in the microwave the next day. The stuffed... squid was perfectly cooked. The owners are friendly and made their way to entertain their customers despite being busy. I wouldrecommend this to all my friends. Good job to the chef. Read more

Had the Menudo and the Stuffed Squid. Amazing dishes. Simple, cheap and absolutely delicious. I've been to the Philippines 3... times now and this place is as authentic as it gets. From the friendly Filipino staff, bamboo features inside and fan blowingin the restaurant, it felt like I was there. If you want to experience great Filipino food in an true Filipino atmosphere, doyourself a favor and come eat here. Read more

The chef Alvin used to be the chef of truffle house in Dundarave so he has a fusion take on Filipino cuisine. He maintained the... assortment of Filipino pre-cooked food which are favorites of the local Filipino community. A bit of caution, these dishes maynot appeal to non-Filipinos. Laing (taro leaves cooked in coconut milk), dinuguan (pork blood and innards stew), pinakbet(Filipino vegetables come with shrimp paste), grilled fish among many others. More appealing to non Filipinos are grilled porkbelly, grilled squid stuffed with pork. He also has a fusion benny breakfast assortment on weekends. Roast chicken basted insoy, lemon and lemon grass or in lemon garlic are very popular. They also have a Filipino ice dessert called halo-halo made fromsugar preserved fruits and beans in shaved ice, milk and ice cream. I came back for the Belly good Benny, grilled pork belly ona ham Benny with soft boiled egg and hollandaise sauce and it was great unfortunately only available on weekends. Read more
