It?s got a cool vibe? the staff was friendly. The patio and location is great. But I was disappointed in the burger. Had the... lolo and it was a simple 2 patty with back bacon, cheese and tomato lettuce with what seems Montreal seasoning on it. That?s it.It would be been awesome to have a pineapple aïoli sauce or something to tie the name to it. Saucy burger that gets all overyour hands. Excuse me, could I get more napkins please burger. Chilled out, Baja themed eatery with strong drinks and good food. We had burgers and poutine. Delicious food made with high... quality ingredients. Poutine cheese curds were thick and chewy. Burger had a perfect sear with juicy interior. Really enjoyedour food. Service was only ok, but they were super busy as it was a long weekend. So totally understandable. The patio is socozy, and perfect for people watching. While it's too far to get much of a harbour view, it's the perfect distance for an afterdinner walk along the water. Read more
This place is nice to visit anytime. We were here for beers and dinner. On picture is burrito. We had wotj beef and pulled pork.... Both are very tasty with two choices of salsa. They served also big drinks for two and more people. It looks really amazing.Also nachos in big portion. We will definitely visit next time. Read more
A bit disappointed given the ratings and popularity of the place. I did like the atmosphere and tropical juice blend drinks but... found the food we tried only decent with nothing great. The strawberry maple-butter waffles were small and oddly portioned (3half waffles). The hash browns that come with the burgers at lunch were okay but fries would have been much better but are notoffered at brunch. We ate inside on a cold day and they had the fan cranked such that it was freezing and kept blowing the menusaround on the table. I'm unsure if they turned it down after we asked or not but it was fairly annoying. Read more
Great location, good music and the food was very tasty. I gave 4 stars because it would be nice to have a few more options on... the menu that aren?t burgers and tacos and their happy hour menu is kind of lame. My hubby had the burger and it was great. Food is excellent! Cool vibes and nice patio. Will look to come by here again when in North Van next.
Loved being able to bring my pup on the patio to eat with me. Had The Republican burger (with crispy onions, roasted mushrooms,... and Brie) with a classic poutine and a passion fruit orange lychee mocktail.
