This is an absolute diamond Find, my family and I were driving along and thought diner we haven't been to a diner in a... while... The food was absolutely delicious with healthy portions. The soup & salad bar as you can see from the photo had someamazing things on it like grape leaves. People with me had a chicken parm w/ pasta and a turkey club, both of which lookeddelicious. American Star Diner always offers consistent quality. It's good quality diner food, clean atmosphere, and a nice place to enjoy... a meal. It feels authentic, and it's typically quiet even though it can get quite busy during peak hours. I wouldn't say thewait staff are the friendliest people, but they do their jobs and they aren't outright rude. I've never had food here that Idisliked, although their breakfast food could've been warmer a few times. Their milkshakes are absolutely delicious and theirmozzarella sticks have so much flavor. They also have a salad bar, although I've never eaten from it. The food in it appears tobe fresh from what I've seen. The prices are reasonable because their portions are huge. A meal here will surely fill you up andleave you satisfied. Their bathrooms are always clean as well. The restaurant offers a lot of seating and the food always comesout fast, even during peak hours. It's honestly kind of impressive. I've never had a negative experience here, and I'll continueto visit when I'm in the mood for diner food. Read more

A nice size Diner with long hours, fast service, and good food. The cakes and pies in the case look fabulous and taste as good... as they look. I did find it to be a little bit pricey for a little extras like if you changed fries the onion rings it was a$2.50 extra charge, $2.50 for a cup of tea, $2.79 for a soda. Two people had a modest lunch that came to $40 I guess a lot hasto do with the Biden Factor. The restaurant is very clean bathrooms a lodge everything is handicap accessible they have a largeclean parking lot damn silver exterior with red neon lights stand out in the evenings did Caesar salad bar it wasn't fully stockthe lighting inside the restaurant gives everything a gray hue which I found made it difficult to read their menu and interiorof the diner a bit on the dreary side. When I have a busy day, it?s so important to me, eat very well. I enjoyed my American Breakfast, delicious and fresh food. I... liked the eggs, they were at their perfect point and the bacon was crispy. The only thing was my capuchino? a little small???????? The staff was very committed. Thank so much. . Typical diner food tbh, nothing really special. I have taken my kids to breakfast here 3 times and each time the wait staff has... been exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Of course my picky kids don?t want anything exactly how it is on the menu! Onekid is a vegetarian, one doesn?t want her food touching, there is always something.
