My wife and I dropped our daughter off at college and wanted to try something new so we gave Imperatore a try. WOW, they did... not disappoint! The place has only been around for a year or so the waitress told us and it looked brand new. The insideseating and bar are very nice, but the crown jewel here is the patio. It is gorgeous! From the tables and chairs, to theglasses and silverware, it was all top notch. Ok, to our meal. They brought out a basket with two rolls and a small dish withoil and spices. The bread was smoking hot, the outside was crunchy and the inside was hot and soft. The bread was tastycombined with the oil and spices. We ordered an eggplant appetizer and the four cheese pizza. They were both very good. Iwould have liked a little bigger plate of oil, and sauce on the four cheese pizza, but otherwise the food was dynamite! Happyhour is from 4-6, not sure of the days but I think just m-f, and they have even more food on the menu during happy hour. Thisis a hands down must try if you are in the area! First time visit and will return! Started with Caesar salad which was uniquely presented and tasty. Would've been made even... better with fresh cracked pepper. Salt and pepper was not available at the table. Ordered the veal chop special and SacchettiFormaggi E Pere for an entree... delicious! Presented hot and the Sacchetti was full of flavor. We found this place by accident for lunch. The weather was gorgeous and the patio was perfect!! We were so happy and surprised... by how amazing it was. Horrible, overpriced, and completely unprofessional. Left our food out and were charged a million dollars for basically zero... food. I would never return here again and suggest that you find a different spot around the area to check out. Definitely won'tbe around a long time if they keep this up. Over $20 for a pasta dish with NO meat and the portion size of a child. $9 for aCaesar salad without any meat and the size of a side salad you would get from any restaurant. I'm completely appalled that Ipaid $100 for this food. My dog could probably run a better restaurant. Read more
