Amazing restaurant on Upper State Rd (near Costco) in North Wales. We came here for lunch. Enjoyed it so much that we came back... the next day to try their breakfast! The food is outstanding and portions are large. Everything is made to order and platedbeautifully. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The Metropolitan is popular and therefore very busy. Everyone hypes this palace up, so we had to try. We will be back, but I don't think I will order the flat iron steak again.... Ordered medium and it was dead when it came out. Potatoes were extra salty; all the stuff was not needed on top of the steak.Everything else was good. Service was good. Large menu. Update: 8/21/2022 - we go here a lot. My mother goes here a lot becausewe enjoy it and it is usually consistent. Today was a different story for some reason. Some portions were smaller than normal.Side items were forgotten. Service was extremely slow and they were not busy. We gave up on trying to get more coffee and water. Everything was yummy as usual, but we were all a bit disappointed, unfortunately. A mouthwatering and unexpected little diner off a side road. The staff was nice, atmosphere calming, and food was delicious!... Food is delicious and large portions. The cheesesteak egg rolls were good but would’ve been better with some horseradish sauce... but still a nice sized portion for an appetizer. The Crispy Shrimp Tacos with pineapple salsa were delicious & the potato puffsAMAZING! Our server was accommodating and helped us decide what to choose. Overall great service. The chicken waffle sandwich was the perfect combination of sweet and salty, crunchy and soft! Only advice would be to make the... waffle slightly less sweet. Otherwise it was a 10/10. Cappuccino was delicious! FYI- potatoes with breakfast was very peppery.So keep that in mind if you don’t like heat. Read more
