There is a lot right with this restaurant, the owner has found a gem of a chef which is the saving grace for an otherwise... mediocre setup. The food is surprisingly inspired with rich and crisp flavors and cuisine that is a lot better than the ambiencesuggests. We ordered tacos and a soba noodles dish. Having spent more than half my life in Japan, I didn?t expect much. What asurprise! The dish was absolutely mouth watering! If you are anywhere near this place have a meal before this talented cookestablishes themselves and moves on. Now for the decor. So many things wrong. Bad seating and tables an entry that violatescommon sense and the suggestion everywhere of ?the owner doesn?t care?. Come on, step it up and invest on what you?ve got! Amazing food & attentive friendly staff! The atmosphere was fire! Definitely a diamond in the ruff! Highly recommended.
We loved this place! So glad we found it early on in our trip so we could go more than once. Compared to the other place nearby... we tried, the food was so much better. Great food compared to a lot of similar places in general. Staff was really nice andattentive too. Hoping to be back up in a few months and will plan on paying this place another visit! Read more
Food was okay, service was very unsatisfactory. As a party of 4, we waited over 30 minutes for our appetizers, and then over an... hour for our main entrees. They brought food out 1 dish at a time, and completely forgot my dish. I had to remind the waiter(20 minutes after the rest of the table had received their food) that mine was still missing. She then disappeared for 20minutes with no update. She then offered to box it up in the kitchen since everyone else was done eating already. It tookanother hour for my entree (which was a pasta dish) and it was not in a to-go box. They brought the check before even giving memy food. We had to ask to have the pasta comped. Our first time here at Pemi Public House. We arrived with a party of 7 they were very accommodating set us up outside which when... the sun went down became a little chilly for the women folk. Adult beverages came out and were very interesting. Our serverSydney was very good. We ordered pemi sliders, banh mi and naan tacos, 5 had clam chowdah. Only improvement would be to have thechowdah delivered earlier before the main course. Thanks for a great experience to the staff and especially to Sydney. Read more
Amazing food and super cool atmosphere! Our server Jess was awesome, super sweet and attentive. The cocktails were on point and... if u could give the food a 6 out of 5 stars I would. The shepherds pie was delicious and the naan tacos were incredible. Highlyrecommend!! Read more
