We used to love coming here. Autumn and pigs ear are my favorite beers. However the main dining area was full so we checked the... downstairs bar but quickly left due to hundreds of fruit flies being down there. There was a flight paddle on the countercovered in at least thirty. We proceeded to the outdoor bar which also them. This place needs a deep clean before I considerreturning. Read more
One of my favorite restaurants! My family and I lived in NH years ago and this quickly became our favorite place. We moved to a... couple of different States and didn?t come back to NH for years. I came up for a hiking trip 3 years ago and then last year andboth times I had to come back to Woodstock Station and the food was still delicious and great service. We went today after ayear for me and my parents haven?t been here in over 10 years! They still loved it. The menu has changed a lot throughout theyears but we?ve never been disappointed with the food. The food was great today and so was the service. It?s Lincoln and it?sSeptember and we only waited 15 minutes for a table. It?s expected to be very busy because it?s a popular area and it?sFall. Most of us got the chicken salad melt and those were great on the homemade bread and the fries were hot and crispy. Foodcame out quickly. We also got the kitchen sink nachos and onions rings for apps and both were sooo good! My father loves theOatmeal Stout here. I got a piece of the peanut butter pie to go. Now that we live in NH again we are looking forward to cominghere more often. Read more
The beer and service here is excellent. The outside row of the patio seating is currently (as of August 2022) dog friendly... which is also excellent. The food is average which is disappointing given the well thought out descriptions. Maybe it's astaffing or training thing, but our blackened fish sandwich could have used a bit more seasoning, the grown up grilled cheesecould have used a bit more grilling, our sweet potato fries a bit more frying, etc. Still went well with our beers and ourcanine companionship, but could have been better. We stayed in the Tamarack room on Friday 8/19. The room was very nice and the Saturday morning was excellent. There were some... minor housekeeping shortcomings that, given the price of the room, should not have existed. The coffee maker was on top of atall dresser, the only practical location, but the cord was too short to reach the outlet. We had to place it on the floor inorder to make coffee. There was an ice bucket but no glasses and no ice in the machine downstairs. The clock was not plugged andwhen it was, the buttons to set the time did not work. The keypad door lock did not work so we had to go and get a housekeepingphysical key to get into the room. I'll rate our diner there separately as it was not a good experience. Read more
The beer was great! The Rubin sandwich was less then average. It wasn't grilled fries looked and tasted like they sat under a... heat lamp for 30 minutes. The Adult grilled cheese was NOT grilled. It was like they toasted the bread. The coleslaw was verydry. The iced tea was watered down. I alway give a rating of 4 stars. The meal was so disappointing. Read more
We went last night to see a band. It was our first time there. Despite being extremely busy the service was awesome! The... bartender and our waitress, both named Katie were spectacular. The food was great. I had the maple sesame scallops. Despitethe scallops being a bit overcooked, the flavor was so good that I overlooked that for the 5 stars!!!!! The atmosphere was nice. The building is old and lovely. The beer is excellent. It was difficult to find fault with the food. My... sister's ice tea was weak and seemed like it was powdered, not brewed. I had fish and chips and the waiter asked me if I wantchips or fries. I said chips and got fries. I'm unsure of whether I got the right thing. The fish was so good I didn't touch thetartar sauce. The Cole slaw seemed homemade and was crunchy and delicious. The food was uniformly delicious. The service,unfortunately was subpar. Our waiter, Brandon was not attentive and seemed moody. We had to ask to get our water glassesrefilled. Read more
