Visited Diwan for lunch on a Saturday and the atmosphere and decor were very welcoming and tastefully done. The food is fusion... and representative of the spread of Islamic Culture, from South East Asia, The Middle East and North Africa. Beautifullypresented and very tasty. I recommend the Bhindari Chicken. Read more

Attended recently on a Sunday for lunch. This is my second visit, initially visiting during summerlicious 2019. Ordered four... fresh juices and four shareables. Didn’t care for the juices and the hummus was a bit salty but i otherwise enjoyed the food.Unfortunately they forgot our order of lamb, we waited but after finishing eating and at that point- ready for the bill- weasked them just to cancel it if it was ever even coming. It didn’t make sense to continue to wait. The server was nice but Ican’t say service was great all things considered. Read more

Class always matters. And I have found nothing better than the Diwan, the restaurant at the Aga Khan Museum where it comes to... class. Be it the food, or the service or the ambience, it is unbeatable. No staff tells you to hurry upon or even show any signsof it. Always attentive to your needs and the best thing is that they remember their repeat customers and their tastes. Thankyou Diwan and thanks you all the staff at the Diwan. Read more

Dinning at Diwan is experiencing meticulously crafted North African, Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine set in a great ambience.... The restaurant compliments the great architecture of the museum, and the service is very attentive and exceptional. The flavoursare too good and perfected by excellent chefs. If someone’s visiting the museum, then adding a visit to the restaurant willcomplete the whole experience. Read more

This was our 2nd visit, Diwan at Aga Khan Museum is one of our favourite indeed. Their cuisines are a meticulously mix of Middle... East, India, North African, that satisfying every palates. We enjoyed the ambiance, this time we went with 2 other friends and Irequested their window seat that got a panoramic view of the Aga Khan Park. The high ceiling was uplifting, our server wasattentive with our scrumptious dishes. Can’t wait to go back there again! Read more

Excellent service, very attentive and helpful in this well appointed dining room at the AGA Kahn. I was inspired to try the... burrata as I am whenever it is on a menu and I was not disappointed. The inclusion of the sweet potato batons was a nicetextural foil to silky smooth cheese while the greens made it a nice light meal on its own. I did, however supplement that withthe chickpea- onion fritters, also yummy and the mini falafels. The falafels were a tad dry but they were presented on a saladof chopped spinach which made it great for sharing. The meal was complimented with a glass of blush to quench my thirst on awonderfully warm spring day. Once the patio opens this will be a great spot to relax after a stimulating and informative tour ofthe museums’ visual delights and cultural connections to a world seldom understood by the western mind. Service was stellar! The staff is lovely. We ordered the Ossobuco (beef shank), my husband absolutely loved it. I ordered the... vegetarian laksa which was very tasty. I just wished I'd ordered a side of rice to compliment the coconut broth. The rest of thefamily ordered the chicken biryani with tandoori chicken. They really enjoyed it as well. Great flavour, no spice, perfect foryounger kids. Read more

Took my partner here for his birthday and we had a great experience! The hummus was delicious, the samosas were good. Both mine... and my partner's main course was wonderful. I had the tandoori chicken wrap and he had the beef dish. The Panna cotta (best I'vehad) and carrot cake were perfect. Our waiter was also incredible. Thanks for a great experience. Read more
