I'm a big fan of the downtown location and got the chance to come here for for the special menu made by Chef Yamamoto and it was... truly an epic meal experience. The set course meal, while a little small for the price, was absolutely worth it. The level ofexecution in taste and preparation are what you'd expect of a michelin starred chef. The yakitori dishes were cooked andseasoned to absolute perfection. The Tori Paitan Ramen was one of the best bowls I've ever had. The broth had such a deep andvibrant chicken flavour it was as if they liquefied a roast chicken. Noodles, eggs, and cha shu all cooked to perfection. Ifyou have the opportunity to try the culinary experience the next time Check Yamamoto comes I highly recommend it! Aside fromthat, Konjiki has some of the best ramen, takoyaki, gyoza, and Don bowls around. Truly one of the best in the city. Read more
Love the signature clam ramen. It tastes so refreshing and the portion is generous. The ramen itself is chewy. Got my mom the... black tonkasu ramen, which is also rich and delicious. The chicken karage is big portioned as well. Will definitely come back ifI go to Yorkdale. Read more
I was here for a quick bite during my shopping trip in Yorkdale. I really like the intense clam based Ramen. I wish I read... properly and got chicken instead of pork since I don't eat pork but everything tastes so good. I highly recommend this Ramenplace! They are little slow on the service as in I need to make sure I put my hand up for them to come check on me. That's theonly thing they need to work on. Read more
Broth that nourishes the soul. There?s a reason why Konjiki is popular in Japan. This ramen chain knows how to make uber... flavourful broth that is so perfect when you?re craving for something warm and comforting. Make sure you order the perfectlycooked ramen egg as it really compliments the flavourful soup base. This time we went to the Yorkdale branch which has excellentservice. Servers were fast, attentive, friendly and accurate. I also recommend their crispy karaage (japanese fried chicken)which was perfectly paired with creamy japanese mayo to contrast the crunchy texture. They have a good selection of japanesebeers and drinks too. Prices were very reasonable considering the serving portions and quality of the dishes. Read more
Got supersized signature ramens one mild one intense. The mild one you can taste more the clam soup base. The takoyaki is okay,... one piece I ate the filling is still cold. Overall, taste is okay and a bit overpriced. Read more
Second time coming here and got their signature clam ramen. Excellent flavour, the taste was clam was great in the broth.... Noodles were a good texture. Black tonkostu ramen also good, but the signature clam broth I thought had more flavour and wasdefinitely more interesting. Read more
Meh... I expected more considering the reviews and the WHOPPING $20 for a bowl of ramen. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and the ... chicken Karaage. As you can see in the picture, they gave me two small slices of pork belly instead of charsiu because they didnot have any charsiu when I got in at 12PM (lol). The broth was okay and not as rich as I expect from a bowl of tonkotsu ramen.The chicken was nice and crispy, but was bland. Honestly, I will not be coming back because of the mediocre food. Feeling like Ramen while at Yorkdale. We decided to give this restaurant a try. The Clams soup base ramen is delicious to me... and I recommend it to anyone to try. Service is not so great but I guess because we came after 7 p.m. and they may have a longday. Read more
