Pretty good for my first experience. Wait staff could have been around more and no water was provided. The main meal was quite... small for what it was, but we had the mamaliga so it was very filling. Read more

Good food, but felt a bit like missing something. I never add extra salt to my food, but in this case maybe just a bit more salt... would add to the taste? The cheese pie has been served warm, but you could tell it?s been slightly reheated, as opposed tofreshly baked: it didn?t have that fresh crunchiness, which was a bit disappointing. We?ll give it another chance in the future:hopefully different dishes will win our hearts more. Read more

Was looking for lunch options while I was in the area, and found this place as it is eastern European cuisine. I was very happy... with my selection, as the food tastes exactly like a homemade, from my grandma ???? Got chebureki and chicken Kiev, and it wasjust excellent! Great service too, fast and friendly. P.S. Servers are Russian speaking too ???? Read more

Traditional Russian Cuisine. If I could give 6 starts I would. We had a group of elven to celebrate our son?s baptism. The... restaurant staff are fantastic. Super friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. My family being Russian, we can vouchfor traditional dishes. Shashlyk was to die for. Hot appetizers were delicious, but so was everything else. My husband?sPortuguese side of the family loved everything. They do have a small corking fee so you can bring your own alcohol. I stronglyrecommend this place for your next celebration or just a sit down for a traditional meal. Thank you Moldova :) Read more

Unique place, serving authentic Maldovan recipes. I tried 3 dishes (couldn't finish them, of course, but I was glad to take them... for home) and they were all nice. The marinated herrings were nice on the milder side (I like pickled but that's just me); thesoup was not too sour but right, I might even say less tangy than minestrone, with a lot of veggies, sausages and dollops ofcream; the veal roll was great , stuffed with mushroom that gave moisture, with a thin layer of fried dough on the veal almostlike Parata. They also have a nice Maldovan white wine, off dry, I'd say sugar level about 25-30 g/dL, crispy, light. This isquite uncommon for restaurants in Toronto to have good off dry white wine, so I was pleasantly surprised. Winnie served metoday. She was very friendly and helpful in recommending/describing the uncommon dishes for first timer like me, as well assuggesting the wine. Great job done! Definitely will come back and try the other dishes! Read more

Very good authentic eastern European food. I had a chicken shnitzel with home potatoes and coselaw. Everything was good but I... didn't personally enjoy the dill overtones. Nice staff and average pricing. Read more
