Prices have gone up but they still serve delicious chicken shawarma wraps and and plates.

I went here a few weeks ago for the first time. I love schawarma, and I have a favorite place I usually go to get it. However, I... was in the Jane and Finch Mall and decided to give Pita Land a try. First, the workers were super friendly. The one Iraniangentleman took extra care to make a delicious wrap. He was very friendly and did a great job making the wrap. I definitely willbe going back. ???????? Pita Land. Big fan of this place, and still eat their shawarmas occasionally, hence rated it 4 stars for relatively... good offerings. But this review is for their new burger item. - ???? Balkan cheeseburger. A relatively new menu item. A huge 5.5oz beef patty, with a drizzle of smokey bbq sauce and other fresh toppings, served with a side of golden crisp fries, all forjust around $12 I think. It was a massive let down. Don't get fooled by what the "bloggers" (aka marketeers) are posting. Thepatty is huge because it's super HEAVILY processed. Felt like rubber, not beef. There were literally air pockets in there ????.I've had sausages that are more meaty. Very inclined to believe the patty is a major pink-slime concoction, and that's so notcool in the world of fresh prime beef burgers. Thank God for the awesome fries for saving the meal.. No biggie Pita Land, youknow I love ya, but burgers aren't your thing. Best to stick to your core Mediterranean offerings. The small fries from McDonald?s comes with more fries than this one, firstly, the place is dirty, the guy took 25 min to make... this. I always go to the unit in Woodbridge and Vaughan, there is no comparison, look the portion he put. The plate was half ofwhat I used to get. Don?t wast your time and don?t go there.
