It was one of the best. Although it was too much crowded, the servers served quickly and kindly. We tried Western sandwich and... Super sunnyside. They were super delicious. Strongly recommended Read more

The stars are for the food only as there is no actual service, food is great but the servers are cold and seem to not care about... their patrons. Waited so long for coffee that our food came out just as we got our first cup while the place was pretty quietand not busy. Waited 30 minutes for the bill when only 3 tables were there and watched a server eat fruit as she divided thechunks into fruit cups so that felt unsanitary. Overall good breakfast but terrible, slow and impersonal service, verydissapointing for such a cheery looking spot. Read more

Decent food. I felt the place lacked the magic touch of hospitality and warmth. Loud electronic music blaring in the store.... Staff were kind of preoccupied. I had to ask for a menu, and come to the cash to pay. Tvs were off. Small cup of water, thatwasnt refilled. Hard chairs, too many windows, and too bright, on a main road. Basically everything about the vibe kept feelinglike i was rushed to leave. No other customers were there, other than a large party that moved into a reserved section as i wasleaving. The place was clean, the staff looked happy talking among themselves, and i felt like i didnt belong. I felt awkwardsitting there, not comfortable. No one even tried to make small talk or make me feel welcome. Other than my own personaldiscomfort, not much wrong with the place. Decent food, clean tables. Theres a feeling of sterility, like a hospital where thelights are too bright and the place is too organized. Maybe on other days this place slows the pace and gives a feeling ofwarmth to their customers, but i didnt get that feeling today. Especially with the electronic music blaring the entire time iwas there. First time ive been here, and i probably wont be doing dine-in again here, just wasnt the vibe i like. Read more

My husband and I had eaten at the Sunnyside Grill on St. Clair innumerable times when we lived nearby. Now that we're closer to... this location, on Steeles near Keele, we decided to give them a try. The server was very nice if slow and/or inattentive (10minute wait for a coffee refill!), but the serving size was appalling. For a healthy breakfast, I ordered avocado smash (orwhatever they call it) and got two pieces of buttered toast, two of the smallest eggs ever laid by a chicken, and 2 tablespoonsof smashed avocado. I cannot imagine how that should cost $10.49! Compare to my husband's Biggie Breakfast that, at $15.99,included three eggs, two pieces of ham, two strips of bacon, two sausage, potatoes and French toast! Seems like their prices areout of whack. Added note: Coffee is $2.99, but in our nearly one hour there, I only managed to get the servers attention fortwo refills... and my husband's $2.49 pop was one can of pop. Surely, that's a 1,000% mark-up? Read more

Sadly, I had high expectations for this restaurant. But was let down. Service was good but not great, server didn't check on us... and we had to get up to ask for everything (napkins, coffee, and check). There were no other customers in the restaurant. Foodwas average, omelette and potatoes were good, but pancake was too small. Tuna cobb salad was a new menu item, but verydisappointing. Egg was not sliced(only cut in half), tuna was bland, and lettuce was discoloured. Overall bad presentation. I'msure they've done better in the past, but this wasn't a good experience, sorry.
