Let me puke out this out over the Great Wall.....My god. I ordered Sesame Chicken/ fried rice for lunch. The chicken feels like... it's been sitting in a bain marie pot for a few hours. It was so dry they may want to call it Mars chicken due to it beingentirely devoid of moisture. The rice feels like it was made several days ago, put in a refrigerator uncovered, and then heatedback up in a microwave. The sesame sauce which is supposed to be thick, sweet and sumptuous resembled a watery brown poutinegravy completely lacking any flavor. A great wall should be built around this place to keep poor uninformed folks like myselffrom "giving it a go!" My co-worker commented that she wouldn't feed the egg drop soup to death row inmates, it was that bad. Ona positive note, the fortune cookie wasn't stale. Read more

Chicken fingers raviolis and pork fried rice...the raviolis had something in them that was bleach white and definitely not pork... absolutely terrible...the chicken fingers needed to be cracked with a hammer before eating and welp I have to say it was thebest pork fried rice I've ever had. Overall rating 1 and the rice carries that number from a 0 to a 1 Read more

What Happened to this place? Used to be the go to place for Chinese food. NOT ANYMORE! Picked up a take out order at 6pm on a... Thursday night- scallion pancakes were like cardboard, corncakes had were burned black on the bottom, boneless BBQ ribs weretired and swimming in a syrupy sauce, and the soft shell crabs were unrecognizable they were so sodden with the salt and peppersauce. Such a shame, I hope they can turn it around. Read more

Sad to see the Great Wall fall. Enjoyed it for many years, but it seems the times have left it barely functioning. Ordered lunch... from my office. 3 menu items. I was told 25 minutes. At pickup, the only customer, I was left standing in the restaurantentrance of hanging plastic, empty 5 gallon soy sauce pails and dirty aquarium for sometime, when someone finally appeared atthe kitchen, yelling "Be right with you." I see no takeout waiting. Nobody had taken my name, or number. I stoodthere...fuming....hungry..for probably 10 more minutes, wasting my lunch hour, and then just left. Pathetic. Do NOT think thisis the old Great Wall. Read more

The food was absolutely delicious, the spices perfect. The chicken meals we had (amazing chicken and general tsao) were a bit... heavy on the vegetables and skimpy on the meat, though. They are only offering takeout right now, FYI. Read more

I love Great Wall! They have all the Americanized Chinese food you expect, done fresh and flavorful and better than most. But... what really puts them over the top is the gourmet/authentic menu. Eggplant and pork dishes they do especially well, noodles, too. I finally tried their pork fried rice- delicious! Friendly staff and Clara just suggested a superb Italian wine to gowith their food. Happy New Year, Great Wall! Read more

Great Wall Restaurant serves some of the best chinese food you'll find in western mass. It's not oily, overly sugared, nor full... of MSG. I recommend the Savory Roasted Chicken from their tasty gourmet menu cuisine. American Chinese staples such as GeneralTso's chicken are available from their regular menu. I've failed to find a better General Tso's in all the region. While theservice and atmosphere have room for improvement the food is well worth the visit. Read more
