Over priced for what was served. Didn?t even fill up the drink cup completely to the top before I had a sip.
Some of the tacos are good, others are mediocre. Everything else is mediocre (rice, beans, quesadilla, guac). Food gets three... stars. Lack of attention to detail: they completely forgot my salsa and they forgot my soda until I realized it was missing andasked, after which they gave me a different one than what I paid for. And high prices on top of that. If I lived closer Imight deal with this for the convenience, however it's easy enough to drive the other way to better options in Winnetka andHighland Park. It's bizarre that some of the best tacos on the north shore are in Northfield, but there you go. Really 4 1/2 stars, with a... small deduction because they aren't quite as consistent as they could be (once in a while you get a bad one), the horchata ispretty bland, and it would be great if they had a better drink selection in general. But whenever we're in the area we alwaysmake a detour to grab tacos here. Not as good as what you can get in the city, but better than anything in Evanston, Wilmette,Skokie, etc. The battered Sea of Cortez and the camarones are particularly recommended. Read more
It's really good, fresh and consistent food. I like going once in awhile, but I don't run back. I get my fix and I'm good. ... Parking is easy, it's reasonably priced and the redone inside is welcoming. Read more
It was the first and last that I will ever go there. It is expensive and the food is disgusting. I order 5 grill steak tacos and... I don't even know what they put in the tacos. I called the manager to tell him how disgusting the food was, he asked me to sendhim pictures, so he can credit my bank card, I did send him pictures and he never credit my card. Read more
I have loved Taco Nano and been a long time customer since they opened. The other day when I went the service was unexpected and... the fish was not fully cooked. My husband waited for 15 minutes before someone asked if he was waiting for something. A youngteenager gave the order without an apology for the wait or anything. So the tacos were cold by the time we ate. Fine, who hasn?thad a cold taco before? However, the fact that the fish was raw was the part that was unacceptable. I spit out part of it as Icouldn?t figure out why it was so chewy... Not only has their portions gotten smaller over time, but it doesn?t even taste asgood as it did before they made expansions and did all their renovations. The raw fish is the reason that I can?t do Taco Nanoanymore. Oh also, we were told that we would be refunded. But it?s been almost 3 weeks and that hasn?t happened. Read more
A very simple menu, slightly pricey for what you get but does make your heart feel great. Visited with family and voila they... had one vegetarian taco option. Unlucky not to taste their margaritas, their so called very hot salsa was actually a spicy one. Read more

The first thing that impressed me was the quality of the food.Everything was so fresh and delicious. The tacos were some of the best I've ever had. The guacamole was also fantastic. Theservice was wonderful. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and answeredall of our questions.
