Very surprised by the food quality. Fresh Caesar salad with chicken. Nice atmosphere following huge comedy show. My particular... server wasn't attentive and not too knowledgeable. We didn't actually stay for breakfast. The manager implemented a wait time. I looked around and there were plenty of space for... us to sit. I inquired about the reason for the wait time. She said that there were new cooks in the kitchen and she wasallowing them time to catch up the existing orders so, 1. The cooks don't get too overwhelmed and 2. Customers are not sittingthere waiting on their meals. We did not eat a meal but, good managerial skills and people skills. Read more
I like the food options. Veggie omellete, fit meal and pancake is perfect to start your day.
We had our breakfast during a less busy time and the staff was pretty free to do a good job during morning time around 9am but... the place was not as clean as it should be. Seats and tables were dirty, we had to ask the server to clean it up before we sat. The menus were sticky, my wife ordered tea so they brought the hot water which was dirty. I ordered a veggie omelette and themushrooms had some funky smell in them. No vegan/vegetarian options. Staff was really nice and helpful to fix all these issueswe had. But i won't go back again. I always have to give 5 stars to Denny's, in PR used to be the only restaurants where you can do breakfast at anytime plus open... 24/7... That's why I have special feelings for this place, but also in this specific one I need to mention that staff is reallyfriendly and attentive, food came fast, plus was perfectly cooked, also place was spotless... Older style Dennys, decor is quite a bit dated, but that aside, although signs were posted to be patient with short staffing, ... we were seated and served in a very timely fashion. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and my wife ordered a pancake andeggs. It was great. Mine arrived looking nearly spot on from the menu photo. My entre was good. We used the restrooms and whileI observed the men's room as well kept, my wife expressed disappointment with the ladies room. All in all, our service wasgreat, food good, building has a lot to be desired... Definitely would return. Read more
Great place for food at any time of the day. You get your typical Denny's menu alongside some of the most friendliest service.... The diner is well maintained and food is top notch. And at these prices, it's hard to go wrong. Take your loved ones to theDenny's in Northfield. This Denny's is my Mom and her best friend's Favorite. I went with them last week while visiting and I can honestly say I have... never encountered such an amazing staff! Every single employee was friendly and accommodating and even when my Mom wasexperiencing medical issues they couldn't have been nicer! They were so sweet and understanding! WAY TO GO DENNY'S!!
