My husband and I had a taste for Seaford while visiting Atlantic City. We looked for restaurants with 4 stars or more. Ventura's... definitely should be 5 stars! We received great customer service we didn't have to wait long for the food.The prices were veryreasonable. I have been thinking about the Crab Cakes ever since!! Read more

We LOVE Ventura's Offshore Cafe! Have only recently started going there but just the first time alone had me hooked. My other... half told me this is home to the "best French onion soup in South Jersey". It's totally true! It is so cozy inside in everyinch of the place. It can feel as casual as a midweek lunch or as classy as a Saturday night soiree. The Tiffany lamps andfrosted stained glass accents along with their sizeable fireplace make it one of my favorite truly beautiful restaurantsever. My first experience with bison meat: the Bison Burger... YUMM! The Short Rib Grilled Cheese was highly pleasing and theyusually have awesome Soups Du Jour... in addition to the BEST French onion always served fresh and cheesy and hot. And theservice is among the most prompt and friendliest ever. We will be coming back again and again for sure. I'm hoping one ofthese times we get seated in the booth that has the blue and purple wisteria lamp. It's so gorgeous! Read more
Had a filling lunch with my parents here in November. The mussels appetizer is big enough for 4 people if you include extra... bread ! And there is tasty focaccia in the bread basket along with baguette I had a side salad with my main course and I thoughtit was pretty fresh crunchy and tasty (I think it was $3 extra and worth it.) I'd skip the calamiri appetizer. My salmon maincourse with rice and lots of asparagus was big enough for two meals and indeed I took half of it home for dinner. Portions arebig and prices are pretty reasonable. Drinks were large and strong too ! A plus and also I'm told this is one of the fewrestaurants in Northfield with a liquor license. Definitely a nice spot and the menu is large and varied. They have a hugefireplace but it wasn't on when we were here. Read more
Passing thru this area for an event. So glad we stopped here. Food, service, price was excellent. Ambiance is lovely. Good music... playing, football games on every TV Full bar. Family friendly. The classic pizza is fantastic. The buffalo wings, crispygoodness, order the hot if you like the mild has no heat at all. And the short rib grilled cheese was bueno. Read more
