The pizza here did not taste bad, it just wasn't that great. My wife and I went in for a Saturday lunch. The place is a small... restaurant with an interesting feel to it. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered a medium sausage pizza. Whenit came out, the pizza was almost perfectly round. This is a big frozen pizza warning sign. At least for me. The pizza wasjust okay. Sort of like a frozen school lunch pizza. The sauce was a little sweet for my taste. The sausage pieces were smalland plentiful. I'd eat it if it were served at a party, but I'd never go out of my way to order it. Read more

Wow! We didn't get pics because it was SO delicious! Now, I first and FOREMOST rate 98% on TASTE. OK? This place has an "old... fashioned" taste to their dough, toppings and sauce! Which we found very tasty. Not bland, not overly seasoned. Perfect. TheONLY complaint I have on taste is that I like a greasy pizza and it wasn't greasy, BUT that's hard to find because stupid peopledon't want greasy pizza. Thanks public..... The mozzarella sticks were good, but not the best I've ever had. The meatball subwas really good! Could've used more sauce on the top. It was more on the bottom. But the bun was out of this world! The doughwas also really tasty on pizza and calzone. We even had to return the calzone due to it being overcooked. They get 5 stars onhow they dealt with this situation. Very nice about it. On this rainy Monday night, I was able to rediscover Russo's Pizza. I had the pizza many years ago and found my way back today.... It is still the same with all of the memorabilia on the walls. Now, the pizza was filled with peppers, onions, sausage andpepperoni. I also had some of the delicious slow cooked wings with BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. Quite delicious and reasonablypriced. I?ve always wanted to try this place and decided to stop by today for lunch and got the Italian sausage sandwich with... fries. The server was really awesome and did a great job! The food was good although the sausage in my sandwich wasn?t veryhot. The fries were nice and hot though. I didn?t say anything about the sausage because it was still good. Also only $10 foreverything. I liked the decor and it was pretty clean, just a little dusty around the Knick Knacks which is okay because therewas a lot stuff. Russo's is always good. They have been very consistent with their food and service. I only had one question/suggestion. I... ordered an Italian Sub and it was very tasty, but looked small. Don't get me wrong...it was one of the better Italian Subs thatI've had. It may be the type of bread that is used. I'm just used to subs being a little bigger. Expensive sub joints haveruined me. Can you put the size of the sub, on the menu? I would definitely get it again. Read more
