Here visiting from Texas and had to try the BBQ. I will say that it's not Texas BBQ but it was pretty good! I prefer my ribs to... fall off the bone, these were not quite there but good none the less! Pork sandwich was excellent, sides were good. For $26 Igot my money's worth for sure! Read more

Archibald's is an iconic BBQ restaurant in Tuscaloosa Alabama. The ribs were perfectly done, very yummy and smokey too. ... A true Tuscaloosa Icon. From perfectly smoke meats topped with their famous vinegar bases sauce adds just the right Tang but... never as sour as your baby momma. Don't forget to top it of with Banana pudding thicker then a chick named Ella Mae from Boligeeyou can't go wrong. Bummer! I had heard good things about this place. The two young folk working the counter couldn't be bothered. It appeared as an... inconvenience that I was ordering food. Ribs were dry and tough. I realize that this is an atypical experience at this place.The catfish was excellent. Read more
