Catfish is good. Gumbo left me in the bathroom for hours. Prices used to be reasonable, recently had a ridiculous increase in... prices especially not being a sit down restaurant. Charge for a water and a cup of ice was $3.89. That is OUTRAGEOUS, a 3 starrestaurant doesn't charge that for water. Given 1 tiny tarter sauce for 4 pieces of fish with additional ones charged at $.48each. I will give a plus for the hot, fresh food, I don't mind a little wait for that. Edited: the Gumbo was purchased a fewweeks ago as I didn't state it was today, hence the reason I've not been back in a little bit and thought I'd give it anothertry. Kind of an off beat location for me, was pleasantly surprised to find a cajun food joint in T-town. Food was great! It?s... definitely worth the 20 minutes drive for me, so hope to do that again soon. Read more

The food is pretty good but not worth a 30 minute wait. The first time it happened, I waited a few months before going back, and... honestly the first time was longer than 30 minutes. Stopped by Catfish Charlie?s for the first time after hearing it was really good. Glad I did, these folks know how to cook... catfish. The portions were generous and the staff was very friendly. I?ll be stopping by rather often from now on, and you willtoo once you try it. Read more
Fast and great service! The food is excellent! I had the crispy catfish and loved it. The hush puppies are fantastic. But pretty... much anything on the menu is good. Burgers, gumbo, etc I have enjoyed it all and when you are in a rush its the perfect spot tograb and go. Read more
