Workers wearing iPods while taking my order, guy changing garbage liner wire the same glove while preparing food. Mac and cheese... looked more like cheesy noodle soup and had a funny smell. Soft drink flavoring was extremely watered down. For the amount ofmoney I paid I would have expected better quality. Not impressed, ordered online, said 45 minutes until ready for pickup. Arrived in 40 minutes sandwiches were ready and were cold... enough that the cheese wasn't even pliable. Chose the no pickle option for both sandwiches, guess they chose otherwise, picklesin both sandwich boxes. I despise those pickles. And they didn't add the pepper jack cheese that I paid for. I am excited to update my review. This is the first time I've had a good experience. Ordered mobile, food was ready about 5 min... after expected time, lobby open, manager was very friendly and helpful, food was great. My only complaints: minor delay forpickup, ice/water machine not working, and didn't get my pickle :( but all in all, much better than the past two visits. I hopethey keep it up. My small steak and cheese sandwich was hot and delicious. The lady at the register was so nice and helpful. The second lady... (teenager), who came out to wipe down tables, did not notice the bench seat that had chip crumbs all over it. Smh Read more
First time at this location. Excellent sandwiches and made pretty quickly. Only thing keeping this location from getting an... additional star is the customer service. Someone teach these Gen-Z types how to smile and maybe a refresher on what good mannersare. Not rude, but damn close. It's obvious customer service is not something they understand. I have tried the Northport AL location twice. The first visit they weren't busy maybe 2 customers besides me, but I waited for... around 30 mins to get my order. A week later I decided to try again and needless to say it took even longer. No customersbesides me. 6 people in the back one person taking my order 25 minutes later a young lady comes to the front asked me my namethen said they are bagging youre order now, I stood up walked to the counter thinking ok im abt to get my order but was I wronganother 15 mins passed and the group of employees along with I'm guessing the shift supervisor were standing in the backdiscussing the duties for each person that afternoon. I got there attention and asked for my food or a refund and a young ladybrought me the bag that was left sitting on the preparation table. First time visiting a Firehouse subs and I was impressed. They made sure you received your food hot as it came out of the oven... and it was correct. For a large sub shop good chain I was taken back by how good their subs were. If you're looking for a goodsub on the run I would visit a Firehouse sub and they give a portion to the firefighter's of our country. Read more
