Well, the reviews don?t lie! This place is legit! My husband is a Mainer and he knows great, fresh lobster on a lobster roll.... Margaret?s lobster roll is fresh, loaded, delicious lobster on the grilled roll (New England split top roll). He raved about thelobster roll! I had the scallops basket. The scallops were also very fresh, not at all gritty, and not too heavily breaded. Thescallops were a nice mixture of the larger scallops and smaller scallops, but they were all SEA scallops, The fries in thebasket were perfectly cooked crinkle cut type. Can't believe we forgot to take a photo but we made short work of it. Best lobster roll ever! So much lobster meat - absolutely... fresh and simply dressed with a side of clarified butter. My husband had the scallop basket and said they were the freshest andmost tender he's ever had. Margaret is wonderful and we had a great visit with her; her husband does all of the cooking and cutsand batters every piece by hand. Highly recommend this true mom and pop gem. Read more

Margaret's lobster rolls are awesome! Lots of lobster, yummy buttered and toasted roll. The french fries were good, too. On our... visit, we treated ourselves almost every day to a lobster roll from Margaret's. The wait was minimal, the service was great, andthe cost was really reasonable.
